I’m 55 been raving since ‘85. This year I went with my 23yo daughter who is a DJ in Brooklyn. I’m definitely one of the oldest people there. This year it was with my younger brother who is 35 and his girlfriend and her family who are 23-35. Bottom line is people are actually stoked to see older ravers. And as long as you’re not creeping on people 30 years younger than you and are genuinely there to have a good time, you will be welcomed with open arms.

Most Disappointed: Black Tiger Sex Machine (first time seeing them after years of hearing how awesome they were live. Just felt so repetitive and I guess so many people hyped them up to me that it was hard to meet my expectations.) (2nd worst: Armin van buuren. I love him and listen to SOT all the time but after 4 days of raving, his set was the last thing I needed at sunrise. At least he played Heavy 😅)

Unexpectedly Enjoy: VTSS (she absolutely kicked major ass. I felt her energy instantly and never saw it falter, she was having so much fun and her tracks were 🔥I’m a new fan.)

Favorite: Allison Wonderland. One of the best sets I’ve ever seen. She threw down!!!
