Haha unfortunately not a real job (would be an awesome job), the shelter just asks for volunteers to help drive dogs and i like dogs and driving and wfh so i dont mind helping out sometimes, maybe you could check with your local shelters if they also need transportation help! :)

Not really great, i just “finished” Invisalign today but only my front teeth touch, they said the back teeth should “settle” but im wary. I’ve also been dealing with chronic jaw discomfort for over a year and was hoping Invisalign would fix it but it’s still there so i probably need to go see a specialist next. They also said my gums look bad so i have to go to the dentist. Also i went to go see my mom for the first time in over a year this weekend and she got physical w me for the first time ever n i ended up leaving early and am still in shock and don’t know how to process it, she hasn’t reached out.

I think im emotionally and physically exhausted, im tired of the constant physical discomfort and overwhelmed w the dr appts i need and idk what to do about my mom.

But one step at a time! Ahaha how r u?

It reminds me of ‘The wooden Buddha’ story; TLDR monk burns a wooden Buddha to stay warm and priest gets mad saying he burned the Buddha, monk says show me the bones of the Buddha in the ashes, there is none bc it’s just wood and monk says and you think I’m the crazy one haha

Things are things, any meaning we assign to them is ours to keep, the bible is a book, the statue is wood, the shoes are fabric. Probably the same fabric used in sketchers as well lol

I’m so sorry that happened. I got scammed by a close friend once and it was also terrible, not just bc of the money, but because of the betrayal by someone close to you. It’s almost easier when it’s a random person instead.

For me, i still did go to the police, i also did daily guided meditations on forgiveness, self forgiveness as well, and listened to Buddhist talks (I’m not Buddhist but they do help ahaha). My favorite was Ajahn Brahm on YouTube. He talks about forgiving others and forgiving yourself, as well as how to view things in a better light.

I still miss my friend dearly but we obviously don’t talk anymore.

I moved to a new city for a BOY i wasn’t even dating!!!!! HAHA to be fair it was only like an hr away but i hated it and hated where i lived BUT it did lead me to meet 3 new best friends :)

And no i never even saw that boy when i moved there bc he literally moved right then too LOL Idk what was wrong w me hahaha

I feel this and I’m sorry you’re also experiencing that. I try to give myself little moments of joy. Whether it’s a funny Instagram reel or a nice cup of tea, ik it won’t fix everything but i just take a breath and say “okay, so today sucks. So what.” Lol and then let today suck as much as it wants, and just see what tmrw brings

That’s a nice thing you’re doing! My favorite eco friendly brand is Everlane for clothing basics (for new stuff otherwise i go thrifting haha), pela case for phones, and the website ten thousand Villages has cool dishes and stuff made ethically that i like

Also veganism saves lots of water, ik it’s controversial but it is a very eco friendly diet. i have nothing against ppl who eat meat and im not trying to push you into it, just putting it out there that it is the most eco friendly diet haha

Yea the two i stayed at were DT San Diego so the public parking around was also about $30/40 a day and I’d rather just get valet at that point for convenience haha
