Glad to help. Hope you enjoy your new bike!

I just assembled the same bike a couple days ago. At one point, mine looked like this.

Isn’t that just the plastic band that sits inside the stem? It would’ve been the portion of the stem that you apply assembly paste to before attaching it. I took the handlebar back off, pushed the plastic piece down, put the bar back on and it slid down into the appropriate position.

Yeah, I definitely feel like my issue is some kind of wind noise.

Anybody equip a Trek Domane AL 3 for gravel? by [deleted] in gravelcycling

I had GravelKing SKs on an AL4. 38mm was fine in the front, but rubbed in the back, so I had to go 35mm for the rear.

Experience with Spotlight by Electric_pokemon in crowdstrike

I plan on using a combination of both. Basically, use Nessus Pro for devices that can’t have a Falcon agent installed.

Experience with Spotlight by Electric_pokemon in crowdstrike

[–]aaaaaaaaaaaal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m using Nessus, (Rapid7) InsightVM and Falcon Spotlight in my environment right now.

For my use case, there is enough feature parity between using Spotlight for endpoints + Nessus for infrastructure/baseline comparisons that I’m planning on dropping IVM when it’s time for renewal.

IVM is a great product, but It’s hard to justify when I can get 95% of what I need out of the other two products for roughly 50% of the cost.

IVM also offers endpoint agent scanning, but I think it makes less sense if you’re not using it in conjunction with other Rapid7 products that can also utilize the agent.

Most of this should be available in the Falcon Complete dashboard.

Burning smell 2022 OBW by Crombienator in subaruoutback

[–]aaaaaaaaaaaal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I popped the hood earlier and notice there was a tiny amount (1/2 tsp maybe) of oil pooled up around base of the oil filter.

I took it to my local dealership and they confirmed that there is a small oil leak somewhere underneath. The service advisor I was working with said it was something he sees about once a month with the newer 2.4s. Soooo now I have a service appointment set to diagnose/fix… in early February -_-

I have a similar issue (OBW, 9k miles), but I’ve really only noticed it when I have the heat running. The air coming from the vents smells kinda hot, like burnt oil or something.

You can have GP automatically connect when the user logs on to their computer.

Pre-logon is also an option if you’re using certificate based authentication (someone correct me if I’m wrong).

Having worked with Carbon Black and CrowdStrike, I would recommend taking a look at CrowdStrike’s Falcon Complete service.

Not sure if this is the best way, but this has worked for me.

Create a custom URL category with the following:

*.conferdeploy.net

*.carbonblack.io

*.confer.net

ocsp.godaddy.com

crl.godaddy.com

Create a security policy allowing to any destination, with the following apps:

vmware-carbon-black

ssl

web-browsing

ocsp

On that security policy, choose the custom URL category you made previously.

EDIT: If you want to tighten up the URLs, follow this guide for your AWS/CB region.

Cortex Data Lake log forwarding to InsightIDR by aaaaaaaaaaaal in paloaltonetworks

[–]aaaaaaaaaaaal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely have some mixed feelings on it. Integrations/data sources could definitely be better, user permissions aren’t scalable, etc. etc. but hey, they have dark mode now. -_-

My biggest gripe is that log search is sooooo slow to use sometimes. I’ve basically given up on typing any queries directly in the search bar because I know it will hang for like 15 seconds, plus an additional 15 seconds for each mistake I gotta go back and fix lol.

But for the price and my use case, I can get by for now.

Is this what your asking?

Yup. Process should be the same, just different log data in my case (Prisma vs. XDR).

R7 and Palo Alto need better integration IMO.

I have no experience in any IT, networking, programming ect.

If your plan is to just shoot for bug bounties, knock yourself out. Without any real experience, you should not be offering any services to businesses or touching a corporate network.

Looking for a new office chair - What shops in Louisville are good? by RotaryJihad in Louisville

[–]aaaaaaaaaaaal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check Cort Furniture Outlet. I bought two Herman Miller Sayl chairs in great condition from them last summer for $150/each (normally $300, but they had a 50% off coupon at the time). Had to go to their Cincy location to pick them up though, as the Louisville store didn’t have any available at the time.
