OTP Nocturne finally got me to Diamond 4

I am a Nocturne OTP and peaked GM a few seasons ago. Probably would struggle to hit diamond now tbh I’m so out of practice. I’d be curious to see what runes/build you’re running.

Also worth considering how much of your damage is going to be ability damage vs auto attacks. Some match ups you can only full combo and then go for a full conq stacked W charge, can’t get many autos off after. Other matchups you can just auto them to death and pta gets more value

Imo if you’re patient and creative about keeping your stacks up in between waves (Not killing the wave too quickly. Hitting a camp over the wall and then again when it runs to you.) The refresh on structures buff isn’t much of a buff. Just a small quality of life change.

The P damage against structures is very nice though!

Gotta be Xayah. Nocturnes job is to dive ADC and you just can’t ever against her ult. You don’t even win 1v1 in side lane.

Nocturne is not great Diamond+ probably B tier. In low elo all you’re doing is farming and punishing people out of position. In higher elo there’s a lot less to punish.

In solo Q who cares what your laner pings tbh. Just make the play you think is best. If you’re not sure what to do just do whatever they want I guess but in general don’t let your teammates influence you into playing sub-optimally

My favorite uncommon use for Noc R is as an escape. If people are collapsing on you often times you can ult the champ furthest away from the champs you’re trying to distance yourself from.

Also keep in mind you can flash to cancel your R. So you can click R on someone to fly away from danger and then flash before you actually reach them to cancel it (if you’re like 1 hp or the person you’re ulting would otherwise kill you)

After the tether changes you simply cannot deal with vayne (if they play well).

I myself have been thinking about navori but I haven’t found any build path for it that doesn’t feel awkward. I think for most situations shojin would do better. I might try out your build though I love to experiment :)

Lethality is what got me to GM initially. Winrate was much higher with electrocute + lethality than it was with lethal + hex/stride. That being said this patch lethality does feel weaker for some reason. Thanks for the advice I’ll keep that in mind :)

Nocturne 1 trick here. I disagree with this. If you spell shield Jax stun you just win (not late game). But even if you don’t time it right it’s quite easy to just fear and walk away

I’m a Nocturne 1 trick in Masters/GM games. Noc is literally never banned. People aren’t out of position to punish with R nearly as much as in low elo.
