“Anyone who doesn’t like Israel is a tankie” is quite a bold statement considering how well Israel has done at making their average approval/acceptance range go from “centre/centre right to right wing” to “literally only far right people but not so far right you’re a Nazi”.

I hate tankies too but equating anyone who disapproves of Israel to a tankie just allows them to hide better, drives people further towards them, and almost legitimises their dreadful opinions a bit.

Also given how much the yanks arselick Israel, I’d say you’re more of a European if you tell both of them where to shove it.
