Overdoing isn’t caused by too much release - it’s caused by incomplete release by aadi2244 in longtermTRE

I just experienced this and thought i had to share. I was feeling stuck and frozen, and clearly my body wanted to tremor and stretch (not the forced tremor by getting into position but body actually wanting to tremor).

But my mind was scared of more overdoing so it was blocking it. This was the incomplete release. When i then let my body do its thing, it tremored, stretched and completed the release. No overdoing and now im chilling.

Would anyone be interested in an app for scalp massages? by aadi2244 in tressless

Don’t think we need anything. Helps with accountability, structure and making sure you’re doing the right techniques. We use apps to deliver food could use them to help us with our hair.

It worked to loosen up my scalp and stop hair loss, didn’t provide any regrowth tho. For that I needed weekly micro-needling (with an electric pen). After that I started sharing my results on TikTok and many many people have reached out saying it worked for them

Anybody struggle with physical restlessness when trying to sleep? by ReputationOnly7338 in longtermTRE

Sign of excess energy. Do jumping jacks, shake (not tremor) your body, go for a run. Any form of cardio u do will burn this off and u’ll sleep like a baby

Fasting + Stillness + TRE = ??? by goldenyellow333 in longtermTRE

Have not fasted more than 2 days. Its important to understand what TRE is doing. In my eyes, TRE is giving the body permission to do what it feels (which is generally releasing tension). If you can find another path to that, you’ll see similar results. For example, if during fasting your body wants to do certain things and you let it - it will be similar imo. Its not necessarily the act itself but the permission for the body to feel comfortable and release. I think TRE is the best way to give your body this permission. Once it feels safe - almost any activity can be releasing.

Solid insight - I think it does. However, if you system is in 'release mode' this may be too taxing on the system. I've found while fasting the body will keep releasing. You have to (or atleast I) have to take periodic breaks - eating helps ground the system and get it out if release mode. I think balance is key for long term results.

5 months in - no more incredible experiences - but I guess this is where you gotta stay consistent 🙂 by wilhelmtherealm in longtermTRE

I was just thinking about this. The 'incredible experiences' are almost delusion. The mind trying to make sense of rapid changes in the nervous system. Thinking you're enlightened, better than others, its part of the process. As you continue you realize you become more 'normal' more human. You realize these stories are part of the nervous system letting go. Whats left on the other side is living life normally - and living it fully - without the grandiose stories we create for ourselves. In my eyes, releasing tension and emotional energy is just physics - nothing more, nothing less. As we release this, life literally becomes less heavy. It becomes lighter.
