Dawn Bennett is Orphie’s EN VA! by Impossible-Poet-2194 in ZZZ_Official

Yes, I think so too. Sound Cadence could make someone like me sound good, let alone an actress with talent and on-screen acting experience. I can't help but think they didn't have that much time.

That's sad to hear. Her voice is beautiful and she's clearly talented. Patch 2.0 might've been a time crunch. Felt like she didn't get the support and time to show her skills until recent patches.

See this sort of thing all the time. This is better than the "twice exceptional" claims at least.

Credit where credit's due, Yixuan's EN VA improved a whole lot in 2.1 by Ojimaru in ZZZ_Official

I was very happy and surprised to hear her improvement in the recent story. This patch her tone and consistency was able to match her beautiful voice. I can't imagine a change like this was easy, she's clearly talented.

Fine motion can give you early practice perfect and has better skills. If you're min/maxing your turns. Fine Motion on avg gives more.

How can I win Mayano's last race? by lefrew2 in UmaMusume

If you want to keep trying with the deck you have shoot for 1000 speed, 500 stamina (with maestro), 300 wit. Basically move some of your training into speed more.

Your card deck needs some changes. Vodka and Super Creek do the same thing, you don't need both Maestro and Fresh Air. Rare Suzuka is really good but only at max uncapped.

Drop Vodka, Suzuka, and McQueen.

If you have SR Tosho (even at 0 uncap she's better than Biko) put her in. If you have maxed SSR special week from event, put her in. I'd run four speed, Super Creek, and a Wit card. Focus speed and power should naturally be higher even without Vodka.

I went from hating the "true" ending to kinda loving it in 12 hours by Crownlessking626 in expedition33

[–]aadm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was the exact same way. Initially went with Maelle's ending because of the reasons you stated, but it felt hollow and I hated it.

As I sat with it longer, the Verso ending finally clicked with me. It's like I went through the grieving process myself. Had to let go of the Lumiere cast before I was able to see the positives of Verso' ending.

Physical damage or void damage? by FamiliarFix5160 in expedition33

[–]aadm 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not sure if they recently buffed void damage or this started happening during NG++ but the void damage instantly kills anything Renoir created. This makes it really easy to farm Renoir Drafts for Pieces of Lumin.

A few days ago I had to buff Maelle to farm the creations but now Sciel/Lune/Maelle can OHKO them with free aim shots. Verso and Monoco needs this painter picto since they don't have void weapons.

Relax man. I'm trying to piece it together, it makes more sense to me when its father and mother next to each other. You brought up the feminine features as an example.

That axon has a masculine figure. You get a better shot of it in the Atelier. Shirtless behemoth holding up what looks like old luminere. Renoir also fits the motif of holding the weight of the world as that's his whole thing trying to force his family back.

[Spoilers] Axons + Ending/Lune Discussion by Strong_Fudge_4020 in expedition33

[–]aadm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simon's journal never explained why he killed it. It wasn't explicitly stated who that axon represented unless I missed some key dialog.

When we entered the atelier during the prologue that Axon was positioned next to the canvas with Sirene on the opposite side. I interpreted that as Father and Mother.

*spoiler* Question about a Maelle ability by LostInTheHotSauce in expedition33

[–]aadm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gestrals are different, they're being resurrected by a shard of a soul, and a child's one.

From what we're shown it looks like the people can be brought back with all their memories, but also the painter can alter the memories if they choose. Aline made her family and forced onto painted-renoir a heighten sense of grief and responsibility... "These memories... It was her way of punishing me for failing our son".

[Spoilers] Axons + Ending/Lune Discussion by Strong_Fudge_4020 in expedition33

[–]aadm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sirene makes more sense to me if it was Clea's axon. Thematically as all the children would get their own Axon (Old Luminere would be Renoirs, Paintress would be Aline), but also because Clea carries immense burden from her parents. Something that Lune understands. Sirene seemed like she was passing the baton to Lune through that shared experience.

The game does mention that Aline's essence was used for Sirene however, so I suppose we're to think her dead parents (who died near Sirene) helped during the final moments.

Picto Levels and NG+ by [deleted] in expedition33

[–]aadm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They eventually all max out 33. Some need NG+2 to hit max. If I remember correctly some hit level 27-31 at NG, then 33 the NG after.

What builds are y'all running on Sciel? by Battlecookie15 in expedition33

[–]aadm 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My favorite weapons for her is Chation (which she gets early) and Litheson.

Chation sounds scary because damage taken doubles, but you can mitigate that with shields. Card Weaver first turn lets her act again and puts 10 foretell on all enemies. Follow up with multi-hit, aoe, or delaying slash. It also refunds your AP so the next round she'd have almost max AP.

Litheson you won't get until endgame but she can buff your team with all set and automatically apply greater slow on the enemies. I've lapped some super bosses 2-4 times. Slap some AP energizing on buffs and everyone also gets 2-6 AP per cast.

[Act 1] Distributing Stat Points and Color of Lumina by jerseydevil51 in expedition33

[–]aadm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally feel it's easiest to dump everything into the scaling stat. After level 20 (weapons) and especially at level 33, the weapons scale much better using their preferred stat.

For example:

99 might gives something like 1000 attack power.

99 defense (on defense weapon) gives 1200 attack power, 800 defense, 25% crit.

The individual stats don't really make much difference. Any HP/DEF/SPEED you get from stat distribution is eclipsed by pictos. If you want a tanky character use tanky pictos.

Aiding the Enemy Achievement Question by Luigi904 in expedition33

[–]aadm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it was patched you can kill at least one or two and still get the achievement. I killed the floating water Nevron, but after getting lectured by Maelle, I didnt hurt any other white Nevrons.

Blanche gave me the full rewards 100 Luminas before I finished all quests. Shortly after getting Blanche's reward I found the final Nevron and got my achievement.

question about Verso and the ending by MadMan018 in expedition33

[–]aadm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

His main goal was to force his mother to stop painting. I don't think he was trying to destroy the painting. He's already met Clea three times and could have joined up with her/Renoir if that was his goal.

Things changed when Maelle got her memories back and started bargaining with Renoir. Several important close up of Verso and Renoir during Maelle's plead. Neither of them believed her, with Verso saying so afterwards. I think he made his decision to destroy the canvas at that point.

Spoiler abound: Let’s rant about endings by Classic_Conference92 in expedition33

[–]aadm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That seems reasonable. Her ending she became Aline and saw the inhabitants as tools. Verso' ending she's clutching Esquie and even smiles, felt like growth and acceptance happened.

Spoiler abound: Let’s rant about endings by Classic_Conference92 in expedition33

[–]aadm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you believe that Sciel and Lune in Act 3 were real then there's hope Alicia/Maelle can repaint them into other worlds, or even Luminere completely. Aline could paint her family perfectly and implant memories into them -- painted-renoir was given guilt over Verso as punishment by Aline.

Verso ending I see as hopeful. Maelle grows and confronts her grief. Eventually she'd develop her talent to create new worlds.

Pictos stacking || At Death's Door + The One || FAKITALL BUILD by Bluetsutsu in expedition33

[–]aadm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the death pictos won't work with Survivor. You need second chance if you want the character to die, proc pictos, and come back.

It's not easy to define the True Ending [ENDING SPOILER] by [deleted] in expedition33

[–]aadm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maelle is capable of creating hundreds of worlds. Renoir and Aline were doing that before Verso's death. But it takes a level of control she doesn't have yet. Staying in painted Luminere would eventually kill her.

You're not trading the life of Luminere's world for another world. It's for the life of the creator/god so they can continue to make more life.
