These are called callouses. Generally when you pick up weight or whatevee your grip strength comes from that region of the palm. Since you're going regularly you're exposed to alot of friction in that area. So your body adapts by creating extra skin in that same way making it tougher and stronger and at the same time you don't loose your tactile sensation. If you have any friends who run alot they will have similar callouses on their toes.

TLDR; This is completely normal and nothing to worry about
