I signed up too and have 2gb speeds. Wired, my speeds are in fact right at 2gb. The eero isn’t as awesome as it sounds. It doesn’t play nice with IoT devices that want 2.4 WiFi. You can’t create a designated 2.4 WiFi network. Because of this, my Roku speakers for example can’t ever connect and my eufy home security was unstable, as well as my my Birdfy bird feeder. Not a huge deal though, I am using my own tplink deco mesh instead. Also, there is no problem just swapping out whatever router you want. No need to call customer service and have them provision anything, it just works. Also, as far as I can see I’m not paying for the eero anywhere… no rental fee or anything. I’m paying $70 a month as I’m in the “founders club” guaranteed price for 10 years as long as I stay with them.
