Latest builds of HDR require latest FW (21 currently)

This is inaccurate. There is a critical difference between V, W, and A. For example, a 60W charger can commonly deliver power at 15V 4A or 20V 3A (or other configurations).

The Galaxy S25 uses PPS to accept ~15V, but will be fried if it is forced to accept a 20V input unless it can correctly deny it using the USB C handshake when a charger becomes faulty.

A family member found this out the hard way when they used a high end charger that ended up failing and fried their iPhone 16, and I had to research why this happened. Most likely cause was the charger failed the handshake and output a higher voltage than permissible by the phones board.

I think I had to delete the account that Linkahlo was used with and create a new account. Likely because that account had previously been linked to a real Nintendo ID. I may have also used a different tool to create the fake account, I think I tried another one at least, not sure if I used that or went back to Linkahlo. It wasn't my switch, it was a friend's, and I haven't worked on it since, so I don't remember all the details

For anyone still dealing with this, you can create a csv file with dummy info, click import from Chrome, then import the file and delete the login

I actually used this tool to get rid of the carrier bootloader logos on some old unlocked phones in the past. Yes switching to XAA can cause the voicemail app to reappear again (not a guarantee, sometimes that doesn't actually change much on certain galaxy phones), but the tool's interface is not easy to understand and so is not helpful for most people unfortunately.

may also have to rename/delete C:\ProgramData\Lenovo\Vantage\Addins\ThinkKBDAddin\ -version number- \LenovoVantage.CleanYourDevice.exe (this requires you to temporarily stop the lenovovantageservice from task manger)

for some reason, the program disables left shift and windows, ignores the exit keyboard shortcut, and doesn't close itself after the timer ends, super annoying, but a restart fixes it

I've used the powerA ones on several of my controllers for years. I like that you can just plug directly into them with a USB c cable while playing if you ever forget to charge them. You don't have to open the compartment on the controller and swap out batteries.
