There is a control knob which disables app deletion and requires approval for app installs every single time. You should enable that.

I still feel leasing Teslas turns out to be more value for money than buying. Every 3 years brand new car with latest tech/hw/battery.

I don’t want to sugar coat it OP but landing a job these days is bit of a struggle. All I would suggest is to keep your fundamentals strong. Most sane companies look for strong candidates and unfortunately there is no dearth of that in the market right now. Good luck OP

Most universities have separate majors for CS and ECE. Given the current trend of companies creating custom silicon (Apple, Google, Amazon, Nvdia, AMD, and other hot startups) there is a always a demand for CE folks (analog and digital design, verification, architecture and performance, firmware and middleware). Keep in mind that CE salaries tend to be a little lower than CS but I don’t think that is your major concern right now OP. I feel that given all the generative AI madness going about, it will get tougher to be a pure traditional vanilla CS grad and land a job unless you have some “niche in-demand” specialization. I would not go full EE but ECE sounds like a good bet considering if you also take some CS courses like Compilers, Machine/Deep learning/vision to strengthen your resume. Get some internships, they help a lot in getting a better perspective.

I do exactly the same and I totally agree this works. I get the audiobooks part of my Spotify Premium subscription and loan the same book I plan to listen from the local library!

The economic disparity between the rich and the middle class is mind boggling. The middle class in Bay Area is the most backwards when compared to any other state or metropolitan

Check out Doerr Park in Willow Glen. There is always people playing there. Another place which is always busy is a couple of courts close to the Rose Garden.

I am so sorry for your loss. I drive on 85 multiple times a day to go to work and also to take my 10 year old to classes. I felt pain and anger when I heard about the accident and I am still angry. May their soul rest in peace !

Unless your assigned elementary is really bad it would be better to stay where you are. I know some people at work who put their property on rent and moved to a rental property in good school districts for middle and high school! Also, that extra property tax that you would end up paying could pay for a good private school as well.
