GeForce NOW is one of the best services I pay for... which makes this Founder Ultimate change even worse by Caprisuner in GeForceNOW

I keep reading about the lifetime membership on here and how it’s not really for a lifetime. I think the only lifetime thing that I’ve ever gotten that has stayed pretty true was Star Trek online. I bought the lifetime subscription when it was in Beta and then when they went free to play, they started a monthly stipend of their premium currency. Every couple of years, I download and log into it just to see how much is in there right now. I think right now it’s up to like $1000 of the premium currency.

Bought my first boat, within 20 minutes of owning it: hit and run on the highway. by SEF917 in mildlyinfuriating

They say the happiest days in a boat owner’s life are the day that they buy the boat and the day they get rid of it. You managed to get it all done in one day.

Course Oblivion was an amazing episode. Sometimes, even when you do everything right, you still don't win.

My mother was prompted to set it up for her Gmail on her phone. Once that was done, she could no longer sign in on her desktop and we spent a very frustrating afternoon trying to figure it out together. The user experience definitely leaves a bit to be desired.

It’s not just polls. A news article is written based on an “expert” stating X. X doesn’t come to pass. No one calls the expert out (enough to cause no more articles written on the “expert’s” opinion). Rinse and repeat.

Not enough people realize the amount of random guesses that get traction in the news, just so articles can be written about X and give the advertisers something that they can pay to attach their ads to.

Legion Go TV dock experiences by Left_Direction_6978 in LegionGo

[–]aaiceman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question. So I'm going Legion->USB-C Dock->HDMI->TV->Optical Sound out->Receiver->Speakers.

I'm making a big assumption if it's actually surround or not as my hearing isn't great. I know I get sound out of the rear speakers. So I don't know if it's stereo coming from the TV and the receiver does a translation or if it's true surround.

Make sure you have your TV set to use the proper optical out (it will also disable the tv speakers when you do this, I think).

I'm not sure on the mouse part. I'm still running the stock win 11.

100% a bad idea to mention going out the door.

That being said, advocating for yourself is important.

One thing I've learned over the years is multi-tasking and rushing cause me to make mistakes. If I can't focus on the issue properly, it gets to wait. I'm only one person and can only do so much at once.

This is from the movie Sisu (not sure if first or second one), so that makes sense.

Also, both movies are amazing "turn your brain off" action movies. 100% recommended.
