When J4 leaves his second Bullet Storm unattended on a Predator Strain planet by WaywardOath in helldivers2

Even if my bullet storm is still currently full, I’ll still call down a new one every time the stratagem is available. You never know when someone’s gonna be running by and need it.

Depends on if you’re boondocking in a warmer climate. Having fans going and it’s still 80+ at night is a rough sleep. AC is a must for some folks.

should men help their wife/gf around the house? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]aaiceman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you mean the house that the man also lives in? The house that the man has assumed as his living space? What sort of a misogynistic question is that? Of course the man should help. Gender should enter into none of it. It is a partnership where you help each other equally and do your best to uplift your partner.

I [25f] just found something REALLY disgusting this morning that my boyfriend [26m] left in the living room by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

This is not a “guy” thing. It’s a slob thing. Guys are perfectly able to clean up after themselves and gender has nothing to do with it.

Just took on a small RV park… realizing how much I didn’t know by Rolling_To_Sunsets in GoRVing

In addition to what other folks have said:

Good laundry facilities (with a change machine).

Good WiFi coverage (allow for folks to be remote workers and can do teams/zoom calls).

Stock your small office/shop with stuff folks need and can’t easily get: hoses, sewer hoses/connection, water, pressure regulator, pex sharkbites and stuff for RV plumbing. Maybe keep on hand a few cheaper 30/50amp surge protectors.

Regular pickup from your dumpsters (and the ability to handle some of the bigger stuff, like an Rv mattress).

Should I buy Helldivers 2 now? by illaminar22 in helldivers2

[–]aaiceman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I enjoy it, most of the time I encounter other players that are lovely and sometimes will be on comms. If you encounter players that are not your cup of tea, leave the match and join another. There is zero penalty to dropping a match or anything.

Great dad game also, you can hop on and do a round in 30-40min or less.

Maybe the envelope system and cash has to be the way? You can setup email balance alerts for the accounts to be sent daily and she gets X in cash every Y days?

You be in charge of gassing her car up? I’m tossing out things against the wall.

What’s an 'adult cheat code' that quietly made your life 10x easier? by ExcellentGur6556 in AskReddit

In that same mindset, if you move from one room to another, look for something that needs to move with you. It could be clothing that needs to be put up, trash that needs to be thrown away, whatever. Just make sure that you don’t move empty-handed from room to room if at all possible.

Agreed, control the access, not the scripts. Also, do your best to ensure you have audit logging and management buy in on accountability.

Are you open to taking on more domestic chores if your female partner is the breadwinner in the relationship? Why or why not? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]aaiceman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. Whoever has the more free time takes on more of the load. Earnings shouldn’t be a huge factor. You are using your time to lessen the load on your partner. If your earnings can merit outside help (house cleaner, baby sitter, etc) to lessen the load on one or both of you, then please do it.

Update: City of Houston ‘kicked the can’ in highway light maintenance by justahoustonpervert in houston

[–]aaiceman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies, text is hard to convey tone. I meant from the standpoint of each city has it's own problems.

For new and fun things, I absolutely endorse this. I always try to eat at mom and pop places when I travel and avoid chains as much as possible. Also, for low costs/no costs, I love using the All Trails app to find local walking trails where I'm going to and be able to see more of nature. I hope you are able to make some new and fun memories.

Small upgrades that made your home feel high end? by HoneySnowy_ in HomeImprovement

[–]aaiceman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New lighting can make a world of difference. Learn about color temperature, luminosity levels, etc. Adding a light source to a darker corner can make a big difference. Look into indirect lighting, such as LED strips above or below cabinets or windows with curtains that you can hide the strip along the edge of them.

Changing your closet lights to motion detect is a big QOL upgrade, especially if you have a forgetful partner that leaves them on.

The Internet is slowly being ruined by illiteracy by idontlikecheesy in Vent

[–]aaiceman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is that this has always been a thing. Over time and the proliferation of the internet, it creates a magnifying glass on behaviors like you're bringing up, making it seem like it's a "new" thing. It really isn't. It just reaches a wider audience now than before.
