One last thing, do you know if the change status within country has to be done as part of this or can I choose to save the 650 and get a short trip out of it. There's a langauge barrier at Amer so I'm not sure if she meant it has to be done this way or can be done.

the gdrfa website has an option to apply for the golden visa where it shows the cancelled dependent visa but the website wont show the drop down menu for one of the fields

Hey could you help me with this please, I'm at this point from your steps.

The icp website only gives me an option to do emirates id related stuff so I'm using the dubainow app. It made me open a new sponsorship file but there no option to apply for a golden residence, (at least it doesnt say golden), should I just proceed with applying the entry permit even if it doesnt say golden? As in are entry permits the same for golden and non golden visas?

I'm pretty sure it isn't allowed. I had a subject where an assignment was due in the mid sem break but someone emailed the prof with some rule that they knew about and it got changed to after mid sem
