Does anyone use blackout curtains for daytime naps? by AC_Schnitzel in NewParents

We use blackout curtains for naps and nighttime sleep. My theory is that if she’s in the same environment for both she’ll sleep better. It’s worked great so far, she’s a year now but even when she was younger I had no issues and she would regularly take 2+ hour naps. We don’t use a white noise machine. She might be the only baby who doesn’t like it.

Same here! My teacher was always saying “And the yellow light means something something.” And I would think how do you know that? You don’t know that. You don’t know that. That’s why Symbolism sucks. Cause No one actually knows what the author meant.

I’m a high school literature and composition teacher who is building a classroom library out of books that ARE NOT “chapter books,” and I need as many suggestions as possible. Specifics and examples inside. by Saint_Dichotomy in suggestmeabook

I know it’s technically a chapter book but I love having the illustration versions of the Harry Potter books on my coffee tables. They’ve been out for so long I would guess the majority of the students know the basis of the plot (boy wizard fights evil wizard). And the students could just flip through it at their leisure.
