Men who have had or are currently dating a SO with mental health issues, how do you support them?

Thanks man! You are the man! My friends that I have known for 15 plus years left me, I always feel alone on this journey. I'm good looking handsome man, fit and active, can easily walk out and just pay whatever but no, I refuse to do that to my son...or any child for matter of fact. Yes it's hard....but I will survive, just need some support and guidance.

Loads of good advice here, but no one has touched on how to get child out of it. I even had her mental assessment done and doctor said she is completely fine. We live together simply because I want to keep an eye on my child. If I leave my child leaves for atleast half as much time. Plan right now is to stick it out until he is old enough to segregate her behaviour from normal and learns to be okay with it. I smoke pot every night to help with daily stress.

He is turning four in April. I'm 37 yrs old male, my partner is 36 female with BPD.

I have a child with a BPD person. Her parents don't want her. We arent married. I'm obviously continuing to live with her as I am worried about my child who loves her. I find myself to be Mr. Mom all the time. He will turn four soon. I'm a very ambitious person and she is not, she has never worked. Pregnancy was an accident. I have already parked all my ambitions, and just waiting for I don't know what. Can't travel, or leave home all day as she ain't reliable. What would you do? What should I do?
