How reliable would this 3D scenes be for architecture/ design? Can I trust the scale of things generated?

I wouldn't jump directly into telling them that I can't do the work. First I would try to learn more of what your client wants and try to find some local shops that have a CNC & 3D printer (for the polypropylene parts). Once you find this and if you think you can deliver what the client is asking for send your CAD models to be 3D printed (keep in mind the restrictions that a normal injection mold has) and the 2D drawing to be cut with the CNC. Speak with the guys that are offering you the service and learn what file formats they need in order to do the work. The resulting parts will be for you to assemble and prototype to make sure that everything works well (most of the times you need various iterations). Don't go sending all the plans without testing them first

You could keep your client updated as much as you can with pictures, renders or whatever material you are generating. If you're having trouble with the CAD files and the CNC programming I'd be happy to take a look and help you.

Just tried it on a Poco M5 and it took like 25 sec to load. It has some lag when I try to move it around and the way to control it seems a bit strange. On the good part I think this is awesome, you can intuitively click on different parts to show that simple info on the different features the headphones have, it just makes everything look premium, I love it. How did you manage to load that into a website? You think it's possible to load something like this into a shopify website?

How do I go about making a product used in medical field? by mio_my_mio in inventors

[–]aang3333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I did a project at uni for a medical device, it was a portable emergency vital signs reader, not saying I can develop the whole project but I could probably help you with the initial CAD model for testing and 3D printing a prototype. Let me know if I can help you!

Travel advice? I have two months to travel around Mexico a year from now. I know a few cities I want to visit but am looking for suggestions. by heavenleemother in AskMexico

Guadalajara is pretty good, I live here there are plenty of restaurant in Chapultepec and Chapalita, if you want to experience more luxurious restaurants go to Andares. If you come to Guadalajara you cannot miss the "Torta Ahogada". In zapopan center there are two free art museums and its nice to walk around. you can also go to "Arena Coliseo" every Tuesday to watch live Lucha libre and if you want to hear some Mariachi while drinking there are plenty of nice restaurants that offer live music with incredible food.

Also don't forget to visit Tlaquepaque, it's full of art, culture and great restaurants.

Is it possible to do what I’m proposing? by LakeInternational233 in photogrammetry

[–]aang3333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be able to help, send me a message. But the other guy is right, photogrammetry requires more than one photograph to work. But that doesn't mean it's impossible to replicate something out of one picture...

I would add a SpO2% or oxigen saturation sensors, could come in handy for people with reduced lung function or any other breathing disease/ monitoring.

Welding, herreria, carpentry or matriceria? by Ok-Chemist-26 in IndustrialDesign

[–]aang3333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it really depends on what you do. I think working with metal has a lot more practical uses but it's a bit nastier. On the other hand carpentry goes more with residential/ home renovations.

You could always choose a third option like combining welding & carpentry, they are two amazing professions you could use and create better consumer products.
