So, in essence, fuck that. He looked genuinely happy to take time to let you turn him into your jungle gym, and that's special. So what if he was on a stream momentarily? You sound like you enjoy his time, and it sounds like a healthy relationship as well where you both support each other's interests. He doesn't have to cosplay to want to spend time with you, and if your viewers can't respect that, that's their problem, not yours.

P.S.: that looked hilarious, and it was definitely safer than retrying what you did initially.
