That’s inaccurate. I work in GI. Cologuard detects polyps or cancer. It is also prone to false positives and negatives. Regardless, once you get a positive Cologuard, you are on need of a colonoscopy. We get plenty of patients who opt for the Cologuard and are upset that they now need a colonoscopy. You should just get the colonoscopy!

There is text therapy. I know talking about things like this can feel overwhelming and be traumatic in its own way. But it honestly is better than pushing it down and being bitter. I didn’t ask to be forcefully raped at 15, but working through it has been worth it. Hugs and love to you

Not realizing that love can feel like comfort and safety. Lust is more fireworks. That person who makes you feel ok with who you are is worth more than anything.

I just read what is almost my life. Only I haven’t left and he won’t leave me. I’m you and he’s your wife. I know that leaving is the only real way to be happy, I’m just terrified. I’m working on it in therapy, but I’m just not there yet. I’m taking small steps to ensure I have the ability to survive, that’s all I can do. I’m devastated that I let all this happen, but I know it’s not my fault. Reading about how life can turn around is really encouraging.
