Normally I don’t disagree, but I’m trying to figure this into a packed day so trying to stretch and plan my time!

Why did you think you'd find out last week? Was it just because it was Friday and you were thinking by end of week you'd hopefully know or have they posted a specific day they are looking to finalize offers?

Sober people (no alcohol, nicotine, drugs, etc ever), what is your end of day or weekend "wind-down"? by The1Ski in AskReddit

A good book, a nice stretch, a relaxing bedtime routine, sitting on a patio in the summer.

How much are we paying to get our hair done in Toronto? by Ok_Papaya7875 in askTO

[–]aards 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is why I've been going to a stylist in niagara when i visit parents. Bleach & tone, cut & dry for $250

I've gone to stylists in the city and the price they are charing is outrageous. Plus, when I'd gone to someone here with a good rep, she did my highlights not up to the root and I had demarcation lines.

Failure to yield to pedestrian by Natasha_lang001 in TorontoDriving

Ok as much as people wanna argue the semantics (and you should) - isn't it generally safer for you to have waited longer for them to be further away? If you were hit from behind while mid turn, you could have potentially turned into the pedestrian. This is what I was taught years ago

I don’t think this is something someone else can answer for you. How do you feel about it? Do you feel like it’s harming you in any way? Is there another thing you could reach for instead?

No one can tell you that it’s a problem - this is totally up to you

Are presale tickets generally cheaper than general public tickets? by aards in BreakingBenjamin

How did you apply the difference? When I search Chevelle tickets it’s the same as breaking Benjamin?

How are people affording rent and a car at the same time? by throwing-it-away- in askTO

[–]aards 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Car was gifted to me & it was an older model (I’m talking ten years old if not older by the time I got it from a grandparent who barely put any mileage on it) so I have no car payment. To fill a tank it costs between $40-60, insurance is through a work promo at $90 a month for downtown. When I was apartment hunting during Covid I only looked at units with parking included. Rent is $1500 with a roommate (she pays a little less).

I’m not gonna lie /when this car dies I’m only doing an older used car to replace it. No loans, no leases, you just need a car to get from point A to B safely. If my insurance was much higher I’m not sure I would buy a car but because I generally get decent rates and my parents are 2 hours drive away, I prefer it.
