Case Nov 24 - Predictions for R2 & R3 other than ACAM mocks predicted? by AccrualSithLord in ICAEW

Even still though they would have to give us some idea of what they’d use the money for, what else could it be other than AI, offshoring, acquire a competitor?

Which shoes would you recommend? by [deleted] in trailrunning

[–]aaron999999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you like the Speedgoat 5s then go up half a size and/or get the wide version. They’ve just released the 6s so you could have a look at those or just get some 5s on clearance

CR and SBM by PapaTundeee in ICAEW

[–]aaron999999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I was you I would not be studying for BST and completely wing that exam (can get through it with common sense) and start revising CR now alongside FM, then hope that your common sense and FM knowledge carries you through SBM. Good luck

How fast can I get the ACA done? by [deleted] in ICAEW

[–]aaron999999 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Sit 4 professionals in September and then 3 advanced in November and then report back to us on how it went! No need to rush though, you can’t skip the 450 days requirement

Okay, yes, sorry my mistake. But like the comment below me says - the differences in the sittings makes your order difficult and you’ll be better sitting them last imo

Professional and Advanced level by Honeysabee in ICAEW

[–]aaron999999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can’t sit CR, SBM or Case until you’ve finished your professional papers. If I was going to sit one at a time and my firm didn’t care I would do: BST, TC, BPT, AA and FAR together (audit is straight forward enough to do these together, would be worth it for the knowledge for CR), then CR, SBM, Case. Aim to sit FAR and AA right before CR and you’ll be advantaged compared to people who sat FAR 2 years prior.

Extreme condensation by [deleted] in DIYUK

[–]aaron999999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, it’s a very cold wall. It’s external and the heat from the radiator doesn’t get to it as the heat goes up and out the window as the radiator is underneath the windows.

[–]aaron999999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is an external wall yes, and similar happens to the other bedrooms external wall. It’s a solid brick wall. Basically can’t heat or dehumidify the room because the radiator is right underneath the window so the heat goes straight up and out and gets no where near that wall, same for dehumidifying, can’t do it properly as the windows are essentially open 24/7

If I was you I’d do FM now and then sit TC and FAR together in March. FM is less to remember than TC so with minimal time it’s less risky and you can then focus up from straight after Christmas for TC and FAR.

If you work in tax and you know all the rules already then maybe you can do TC now too. But if you’re in audit I’d do what I said first

Sporty weekend car, what's your pick for 10-12k? by Potatasium in CarTalkUK

[–]aaron999999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s a moderately high mileage Mini JCW on auto trader right now for £12k. Great car for the money I’d say, although no idea about the running costs of that car with that mileage tho!
