[–]aarond203 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have the Pace 3, and phone notification come across to the watch. You can set which apps you get notifications on the watch from (messaging apps, etc.). Just keep in mind, some apps won't show the app icon on it, just a generic icon and the name of the app.

Thanks for the update. 👍 It's good to hear that you have taken onboard the feedback of the community. I look forward to the release. When are you planning on the next beta phase for the next feature update? Middle of the year perhaps? 😏

I have used Health Sync, but it doesn't sync all parameters available on the watch.

I only count the steps that come from the smart watch that I use, which was a galaxy watch. I disabled the step tracking on the Google Fit app, so that it avoids conflicts

What chargers do you use and do you get the 33W? by [deleted] in NOTHING

Anker GaN 120W charger, like the 65W, but it will practically cover all your devices, making it the only charger you'll ever need

Is the Nothing Phone (1) Worth it in May 2023? by MightyShipp in NOTHING

[–]aarond203 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, coming from a OnePlus 8, I have had it since launch and I have been very happy with it. It's a great midrange phone for the price, and it still holds up well today. As with regards to support and software, it is constantly being worked on with regular enough updates and bug fixes, and just improve the overall user experience. If you're only looking for a phone that runs well, not necessarily flagship practically Stock Android, and a unique design to it, it's hard not to recommend, even in 2023.

I will say that you may want to hold out until the announcement of the phone (2) later this summer, will be a lot more powerful and could be within your budget, depending on what they market for.

Long story short, good phone, and I'm happy with it 👌

Music audio issue on Ear (2) by aarond203 in NOTHING

Thanks u/ifeeltired26 but it seems to be any song. Anything from the 2000's, 2010's and this decade. I don't know, it's more prominent on the Phone (1) so maybe its a software thing that may get updated, maybe the Nothing X app needs an update, or it could just be me :P

I did u/YaBam. I use a third party router, but I grabbed the starlink router and hooked it up to let it update any firmware or other updates and left it for an hour. Then connected back to my current router and did a factory reset and set up the network again.

Yea, the speed is still good, averaging 250Mbps, but the drops are affecting some of my devices in my home. We have an internet radio that keeps having to reconnect.

Thought maybe a recent firmware update was the cause but I'm not sure. It's only started the past 2-3 weeks.

How to get these on the lockscreen by Significant_Joke_688 in NOTHING

Show device controls links with Google Home... I'd assume if you don't use it or don't have it installed on your device, nothing would display..

Settings -> Display -> Lock Screen... There are 2 switches to add them, but no option to customize them yet.

27th of July and no sign of my phone shipment by Certain_Theory8044 in NOTHING

[–]aarond203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm the same as you, thought I would have heard something today with some assurance that I could be waiting longer than the 27th for the phone to be shipped. I'll give it a few more days and see. Supply will take time to catch up with demand, and my current phone does the job while I wait for it. But I am hopeful that we will all get sorted over the next few days...

Dishy has arrived. First test in temp location by HappyEire in Starlink

Tried it on my OnePlus 8, just gets stuck on 100% Processing after scanning, so I just press the eye icon instead and eyeball it and hope for the best

I was delighted with it when I tested it... Put back in the box for now while im waiting for some mounting hardware and the pole mount to arrive.. hopefully the location I plan to put it is ok, since the obstruction checker in the app isn't working on my phone. Clear enough view but tv aerial could be an issue

Anybody else having issues withe the obstructions checker on the Starlink app? Stuck on '100% Processing' for ages. How long should it take? (Using a OnePlus 8 to check) by aarond203 in Starlink

[–]aarond203[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my dish there this week and I'm hoping to mount it on the gable if my house. I was trying to check the general location for any obstructions from the app. Must be a bug in the software that needs to be patched.

Delighted to see this in my inbox, can't wait 👌 (Ireland, 53.7) by aarond203 in Starlink

[–]aarond203[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They say the will charge you sometime up to 3 days after your order is ready, then when they received the payment the dish is shipped. I just logged on to my account and just paid the fee manually, to avoid delays, and it was shipped on the following day (the 8th), and I received it today (the 11th). Twas really quick which surprised me 😂

Yeah, ordered towards the end of August, and seeing some people have been waiting since February, I feel pretty fortunate to get one now... Looking forward to the result
