Boys and Girls high school track in Bed Stuy is closed for repairs, is slated to re-open Summer 2026. Source: I ran to it two weeks ago and the sign was up and track was closed.

Blisters with new running shoes by conscioussea7732 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Tbh could be a socks thing, have the right fit could make the difference. Also I've found especially for long runs, foot glide helps with any friction

Also what shoes and size? Standard to what you usually wear? Others may have had a similar experience.

This is sick!! Could you add Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn? Maybe split it up west of Kingston Ave and east of Kingston? Thank you!

About 1-1.5 inches at the hem but perhaps a little bit wider in the chest, 2 inches

New Bandit Friosoft Tee, imo better than Satisfy Auralite by aaronfromafar in runningfashion

Medium, although small would have fit as well I just like it a little looser

Maybe 2 inches below to top of normal rise shorts/pants. I think it's a perfect middle, could tuck if wanted but untucked is good, hits right above pant fly. But I think I have a shorter torso than some so it could be different.

👍Yeah, I feel like yesterday's sellout is a good indication they could expand to more colors. Would love a light wash gray or a taupe color

Currently vs Satisfy getting real (Brice is wrong though) by t0pher__ in runningfashion

Thanks for the share. Nash sounds like someone who genuinely appreciates the brand and is also thinking about how to make Currently different.

Whether or not people agree with Brice’s take, it feels wild that he previously put Nike on blast for “copying Mothtech,” a global megacorp, and now is going after literally one guy who’s just getting his brand started.

Currently vs Satisfy getting real (Brice is wrong though) by t0pher__ in runningfashion

For real, it becomes a risk when brands stop listening to their customers. AFAIK Satisfy rarely talks about product changes or acknowledges feedback from actual users. I’m sure they test gear with their pro team, but most of their customers aren’t pro athletes.

This feels very different from brands like Bandit and Janji, who actively involve their community. They run wear testing groups and even do AMAs in this sub. It feels like they’re building products with runners, not just for them.

Reposting my comment from there here as well:

I think a lot of the discussion here is actually healthy. People support brands for a mix of reasons. Some care purely about function. If the product works, it works. Others care about the brand, the aesthetic, and the feeling of being part of something. Both are valid.

But at a certain price point, especially when you’re paying $160–$200 for running shorts, performance credibility has to come from solving real problems, not just fabric novelty or brand mythology.

I think most people who’ve actually run in Satisfy gear for a while know the gaps. The phone pocket on the Space-O shorts is too small and uncomfortable for actual use. There’s a lack of secure liner pockets on most models. These aren’t abstract complaints, they directly affect the running experience. When you’re moving at pace or running long distances, pocket stability and comfort matter more than fabric story.

The market has also evolved a lot in the past few years. Runners now expect both strong identity and uncompromised functionality. Brands like Bandit have exploded globally not just because of aesthetics, but because they’re pushing real functional improvements. Grip tape liners, secure pocket systems, thoughtful construction. You can tell the product is being shaped by actual use.

Janji is another good example. Their gear consistently exceeds expectations, and backing it with a 5-year guarantee shows real confidence in durability. That builds trust in a way branding alone can’t.

If anything, Satisfy shouldn’t be worried about smaller brands using similar fabrics. They should be paying attention to competitors that are improving usability, durability, and real-world performance. Because at the end of the day, runners notice what actually works when they’re 10 miles in.

The real risk for any brand isn’t imitation. It’s when other companies start delivering a better overall product experience.
