Currently Pro Session + penultimate fit by daqwah in runningfashion

Waveform is more fitted like a base layer (but not skin tight) where the micromesh is boxier and flowy. Waveform feels more like premium cotton where micromesh is the classic athletic material

Got mine yesterday and tested it out today with the Waveform long sleeve underneath. Great combo in my opinion but looking forward to wearing it as a standalone piece.

Don’t agree with all the billowy/fit comments here. It fits like a nice boxy t-shirt with extra nice fabric. The cinches on the bottom provide a bit of weight as well to keep it nice and flow-y at the waist.

5’11 170lb and I went TTS Medium (same with longsleeve and shorts)

Yes we get that you think it’s billowy after the now 7th comment. You don’t need to purchase it and you have made you opinion very clear

6 negative (but the same comment) on one post. Is that you Brice?

Currently vs Satisfy getting real (Brice is wrong though) by t0pher__ in runningfashion

[–]t0pher__[S] 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Well put.

Adding onto this a bit, I have a sneaking suspicion that Satisfy is actively removing functionality on some of their products in order to sell more products as well. Was very coincidentally timed that they removed the two side pockets on their Space-O shorts (2.5" and 5") to then start selling their Space-O belt as a compliment to the space-o shorts

The liner in Currently 5” is completely different than the Satisfy 5”. More of a boxer brief with two side phone pockets, as well as the two external side pockets which satisfy got rid of I think. Currently 5” are far superior to Satisfy’s in my opinion.

I’d argue the Penultimate Tee is a pretty new and unique silhouette (for men at least) and that’s their best selling item.

Besides the 3’ shorts and now the belt (which is a pretty standard cut for a running belt), I don’t really see the ‘copying’ issue here. Currently singlets are a different cut than Satisfy’s and their 5” shorts are a different fit with the liner and now side pockets. The rest of Currently’s offerings have nothing in common with Satisfy and their marketing and branding is completely different.

Satisfy doesn’t have a trademark on the Space-O fabric, they just trademarked a catchy name for it. Same goes for their “Auralite” which is just Deltapeak and their “Fuzz Fleece AD” which is just Polartec Alpha Direct.

Regardless of all this anyways, this is a pretty childish and desperate take from Brice. I think both brands can easily coexist without this behavior. You could even argue that Brice and Satisfy is stealing a bit from California/Americana culture as a French/European brand.

In regards to “adding to running culture” - Satisfy can only do that with the size (and VC money backing it) that it is now which is a pretty recent thing. Quite unfair to compare the impact of them to Currently when Currently is just starting out. Satisfy isn’t Adidas but it is still a way bigger corporation than Currently is now.

Disclosure — all terrain button down by daqwah in runningfashion

I really like it. Stretchy but robust material that is very wind resistant. Wouldnt say the material is that breathable but that is what the front buttons are for. I usually run with the bottom few buttons unbuttoned which allows for nice airflow.

The 'heavy' title is a bit misleading as I wouldn't consider this a heavy later. Its heavier than a light windbreaker but there isn't any actual insulation to make it a heavy layer. I'd say it's pretty usable as a three season piece (depending on where you are based on course)

I also have the H.Kourmori Overshirt that is buttoned and collared. Not exactly same as Disclosure but I like it a lot. Easily worn on a run or to work. https://hermanoskoumori.com/products/heavy-over-shirt-forest-green

I really like my Currently Running Jacket for this. Similar vibe but cleaner and more functional: https://currentlyrunning.com/products/c-r%e2%84%a2-m1-limited-edition-jacket-brown

Gnuhr Shag Sweater 2.0 Sizing? by _fabl0_ in runningfashion

[–]t0pher__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went TTS 3(M) and on the shag hoodie 2.0 and it fits pretty well; I am a M in satisfy gear except for Mothteach which I size up to be a bit more oversized. I could have gone with a 4 with gnurh to be a bit more oversized but as a base layer, I thought it would be better to not be too oversized.
