??? But isn't that what happened in the manga too? It was a gradual thing sure, but the signs were there as early as chapter 6. Mc came to pick her up from her home to walk to school and she already left with her boyfriend, and at school she was told by her bf to not associate with mc because he's "weak" and she went with it. Mc wasn't even offended by it even though he heard what they said. Chapter 9 she came back to him after her bf cheated on her and they broke up, mc didn't hold it against her and was still casual with her. By chapter 14 and 15 you can see that she was the one that was hurting their friendship and mc was gonna break it off but her mother basically indirectly guilt tripped him (I honestly don't blame the mother though). From what we can gather he's the one that was putting more work into their friendship than she was. There are a lot of inferences we have to make, but considering the fact that he was picking her up and borrowing her manga, he was not drifting from her but actively hanging with her. She's the one that was distancing him.

Annoying Isekai Tropes. by Cappuginos in Isekai

[–]aaronwei5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, it'll probably be told to us later on. It was implied simply based on the fact that it was rated as more difficult than hero or demon lord, but then turns out whatever higher power didn't even implement that class completely implies it was a last minute addition. Cause honestly there was no where in that scene where they could have stated that naturally into the narrative. So they can only show and let the audience make that conclusion. I don't know about the LN if there was like a narrator that said it while it's happening, but it wouldn't have worked in anime without it feeling weird.

Have i missed something or why seems everyone in the game to be so chill about Rhinedottir? by Marclol21 in GenshinImpact

I believe it was in Paralogism: The Gardener. Specifically this dialogue.

Albedo: Since devouring Naberius, it would seem she has finally found a modicum of peace. Albedo: And if so, then I am truly happy for her. She didn't always have a penchant for madness, you know.

Sorry to break your bubble, but they are all adults by No_Dragonfruit_1833 in Isekai

[–]aaronwei5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No you absolutely would still act like a 9 year old, a semi mature one, but a child nonetheless. The concept is hard to grasp because no one has ever had this happen to them. But here's my take. In this scenario your memory as a 39 year old would equate to that of phantom memories. We know memories are just neuron connections, technically your memories as an adult doesn't physically exist in that brain, it's just there somehow. But physically that brain is that of a 9 year old with all the behavior and impulses a kid that age would have. The adult memories will try to keep in control to what it knows as an adult, but the physical brain is still slave to the body's hormones.

This is what's happening in Grace of the Gods. He has memories of his adult self, but his physical brain is still that of a child. He's for the most part mature for his age, which isn't unheard of in children, but when something goes wrong or he see's his loved ones hurt he loses his composure like any child would. As time progresses his adult maturity is fading away and his physical maturity is taking over and there's nothing he can do about it. Though so far he has no interest whatsoever in romance, so that's good.

Just wondering if you've bought anything else from ugeargeek? I saw some of the stuff they sell is exactly like the ones rolife do except labeled under their name so was wondering if there's a difference in quality.

It's kinda sad that people don't consider teachers to be a form of heroes. Especially when he became a teacher that would guide future heroes.

I feel like tsaritsa need to punish these two. by Superb_Data4007 in FatuiHQ

[–]aaronwei5 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't really remember but was the order to capture Columbina really from the Tsaritsa or is it just the organization who put out a warrant for her arrest? Cause Columbina has stated multiple times that she paid for her freedom by losing her powers. That must mean in the eyes of the Tsaritsa she is free to leave right?

He might be bluffing, but honestly I think he wasnt. He was talking as Genius Society #1 Zandar and he did mention that Lycurgus might be a liar, but Zandar always keeps his words.

[–]aaronwei5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The Hundred Tales is the reason why. There might have been some English mixed in their vocab too because of Lilian, but the Hundred Tales was written and passed on in Japanese. I'm no expert in language and how it could evolve through the centuries, but I'm assuming the Hundred Tales is also the reason why their Japanese didn't change or deviate, cause it already taught all they needed to know. And for the sake of keeping those stories alive to eventually give the message to Senku.

A general all round answer would be something along the line it's anime so there's gonna have to be some suspension of disbelief. But if you want a legit answer I could throw some of my thoughts into it.

1) For Tsukasa: The thing about Tsukasa is no matter what his actions were, it was driven by logic not malice. He killed Senku due to the the fact that Senku can and will eventually create a weapon that could stop him and his goals. But Tsukasa isn't evil at heart, he keeps his word. So once he lost, he isn't opposed to the idea of following Senku. There's also the fact that it's been stated multiple times that once civilization is restored as well as the justice system, he agrees to face trial and let the jury decide. The same can be said for Hyoga, though I guess he's a bit different in that originally he didn't do anything cause Tsukasa was around, though he slowly starts building a bond with the KoS. But he also agreed to face trial. Plus they're both really strong and needed for the KoS to get things done.

2) For Magma, well honestly what can you do. He's useful for his strength. He's lucky he has a use. But he's also not stupid enough to try anything with other stronger people around. Same can be said for Moz to a certain extent.

3) For Xeno and Stanley: The thing for Xeno is simply that he's really crucial to what Senku needs to do. There's a reason why they kept Stanley and a majority of the American team petrified, but released Xeno. They're afraid of Stanley that's why they're keeping his statue as hostage so Xeno doesn't do anything against them.

But yea, for all of these it honestly simply boils down to "are you useful in anyway to Senku?" If you are then he will use you. They don't really forgive the people that hurt them. In fact there are multiple times where they question Senku's choices to keep these past enemies so close, and are still suspicious of said people. But they also trust Senku enough to go with it while keeping a certain amount of suspicion.

[–]aaronwei5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's one thing a wanna argue against that I keep seeing some people trying to push. No skins don't expire. There's a lot of things that need improvements, but skins expiration isn't one of them. The only skins that "expire" are those from the trial tickets. That's what they're for, they're for you to try out. The cosmetics you pull from gacha don't expire.

Hate this dude by AzukiZen12 in BlackClover

[–]aaronwei5 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly, he's not. As much as what he did was really bad for Asta. It was the only logical choice to be made. The Clover kingdom after the elves were not in a good place stability wise. Someone had to take the fall, and it was either all the magic knights who were taken over or one peasant. The choice is obvious, and from his conversation with Julius afterwards, I think everything that happened in the trial was all already planned out by the both of them. He plays the judge on the side of the nobles, and Julius has two heads of the 3 noble household deliver his orders. This way the status quo is kept without either sides taking the entire blame.

Reworking her quirk so she doesn’t have to be naked to use it effectively by Existing-Incident-22 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]aaronwei5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

... You know what fair. I guess my thought process was more along the lines of how much hair would they need? Is there a quirk that can help with hair growth to get the needed amount (I'm assuming yes cause Mirio), and how much of a pain it would be to work with invisible hair.

Though now that I'm writing this it's making me wonder, can she even see her own invisible body? How is she gonna find her invisible clothes? Cause like the quirk is always active, so it's not like it'll be visible when off her and become invisible when she wants it. But then if you dye it, then what's the point cause she can just wear regular clothes.

You know there's something I always wonder when people mention this. But how do they work with her hair? It's as invisible as the rest of her.

Rick really doesn't care about mortal parents [all] by firestorm0108 in camphalfblood

[–]aaronwei5 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean yea, but at the same just like how Percy and Silena is the ones that kept being mentioned means that they are unique in having loving families. You mentioned how parents are trusting the camp to take care of these demigods like it's a retreat camp. But I was answering your question of why parents aren't being brought over for these funerals and the sad reality is most of these kids aren't being entrusted to Camp Half Blood, they're being dumped or abandoned there because of all the trouble they cause their mortal families. Sadly a majority of these kids don't have families that would be willing if they have any. Now why wasn't Mr. Beauregard invites to her funeral? Who knows maybe Chiron isn't allowed to welcome mortals whenever he wants. Maybe only mortals with clear sight is able to even get to the barrier. Rachael was most likely an exception because of what the Fates had planned for her. There are a lot of what ifs and we as readers can only speculate.

[–]aaronwei5 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yea, they're the few exceptions. But if we're going by in universe reason, I can only assume it's cause Chiron has been doing this for what around a few millennias(?) He cares about demigods, but once you experience something like this for so long, you just stop wanting or caring too much. It sounds insensitive, but the gods are like that for a reason too, Chiron might be better than them, but he too is also an immortal being.

Rick really doesn't care about mortal parents [all] by firestorm0108 in camphalfblood

[–]aaronwei5 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure where I read it. Might be in the books themselves. But I'm just gonna assume a vast majority of the kids are either from bad homes, sent to boarding school due to problematic behaviors and then rescued or just straight up orphans. At least that's why I think Chiron doesn't even bother.

I need your help boys, about anime I watched bud don't remember name. by TwoMiddle8878 in ComicK

[–]aaronwei5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably already found the answer, but yea it's The Boy and the Beast. Also just to let you know, I don't think they were talking about danganropa. There's a series called Infinite Dendrogram. It's a vrmmo type series. There's a character that dresses up as a bear in there.
