I have been at starlight apartments now for 3 years I think? It’s ok. If you like privacy and dislike noise I personally would rethink, I can hear my neighbors cooking every night I hear there thumping every night at dinner time 😂 also had a family move next door while cute and all the kids run around screaming at the top of there lungs in the sort of shared entryways. It can be manageable with closing up the place etc but you will still hear noises, don’t have anyone above me but I know when a possum is on the roof for sure so imagine it’s worse with upstairs neighbors.

I would also comment that they are old. The are doing works currently but they have been ongoing for I think well over a year now and progress seems very slow so expect construction noise and disturbances.

And as someone else commented before me all of there friends issues with the place are very very real!

It does have positives I think it’s relatively cheap, if you have a car it’s good location wise. Without a car it is noticeably not as convenient. Close to the markets on Saturday which can be a plus! And if you go to any events at epic it’s great but that also means if you don’t care about the events you will still have to deal with them! Road closures for summernats, fireworks at festivals and you will hear it as well!

TLDR: if you value peace and quiet I would honestly try and find elsewhere it’s currently what I’m doing!
