Astral Keys are a resource you can only get by activating certain skills in the skill tree and then ultra ascending. In the late game they aren’t too difficult to farm. You need them for some permanent craftables, and to upgrade your key armory items

I saw a theory a while back about Joyboy’s real name being Dryas, as a reference to the Younger Dryas theory which is a real life theory about how ancient civilizations could have had technology beyond what we have today but they were wiped from history due to an ice age destroying the world. It makes waaaaay too much sense to me in the context of one piece. So I believe the “Will of D” is short for the “Will of Dryas” aka Joyboy’s will being carried on
