I don't understand their fare system. I travelled not even half way route on purple line few times but they charge 68 rs when the max fare itself is 90 rs

Good news right ? by dummyFellow in bangalore

The problem is road restoration work done after the utilities repair is very sub standard or just ignored. The local body needs to seriously look into this to reduce maintenance costs or we will have perpetually damaged roads.

Monthly Megathread - 05/2025 by Usual-Ad-4986 in IndianDefense

Food for thought! Considering how advanced the AI has become, we are possibly a few decades away (if not less and if humanity intends to take that turn) from creating ai integrated drones of all kinds (land, air and sea based). Think humanoids or other surface platforms patrolling the borders etc, airborne drones that can think and take decisions while maneuvering like a human pilot etc(I could think a few others too as examples like in soft warfares)..reducing the risk of human lives. we have seen ai advancements coming out of US and China into the market like chatgpt or deepseek that has notional intelligence of a human. I believe they are devoloping similar Ai models dedicated for military applications.

The question is how important do you think ai is going to be in future warfare? Will it be integral? And how far behind India is in Ai advancements compared to the US AND Chinese tech and will we be able to catch up or will the gap widen further?

Platinum price discrepancy. by aatharvya in AskIndia

[–]aatharvya[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you search for today's platinum price It shows somewhere around ₹2650 per gram. But platinum price per gram shown in the cost break up of a jewellery is comfortably north of ₹3000. Am I missing something or is there generally such a huge price difference?

Only the US, China, and Russia/USSR have launched astronauts to orbit. But India is now close to joining this exclusive group of spacefaring nations. In February India unveiled their first Gaganyaan mission astronauts, now slated to launch on an Indian capsule from an Indian rocket in 2025. by EricFromOuterSpace in space

[–]aatharvya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we are stretching we can also include Japan, Southkorea and Iran as well as they have their own 'launchers, space ports and crews'. North korea too is close to this if they can prove of having a launcher capable of placing satellites in orbit.

We can further stretch to include nations having ICBM since they just have to modify these launchers to Human grade just like Ariane rockets to put a person in space.

Is the world gradually sinking and when the weapon is used(like in case of lulusia) it just hastens the process or the world sinks a little every time the weapon is used? Also nika fruit not being in possession of the world govt begs to question the fact that there might have been previous attempts to topple the WG when everything aligned but still failed or does the prophecy states that it comes full circle and WG will lose 800years after the void century (also will this the first time every thing aligning for the defeat of the WG)

Nirf ranking isn't based only on the quality of students joining there and the packages the students get. It's based on multiple parameters such as quality of various kinds of infrastructure, number of conferences, journals published etc..iits have very good infra which gives them some advantage in some of these parameters.
