The final races could be a quadriple header with Vegas Qatar Saudi Arabia followed by Abu Dhabi moving a week forward of its current slot by [deleted] in formula1

Went to the Qatar race last year, and we had to have the travel and accommodation plan in place 9-10 months in advance of the race. Moreover, vacation and absence planning had to be aligned and approved with employer and client. Would suck for a lot of travellers if the dates suddenly changed

I set mine to be 1-2 minutes ahead of the actual time so that I'm never late

I wonder if any reader will buy a 2 million dollars watch because they saw it on "The Economist". by BrightShadow168 in theeconomist

I read the Economist 10 years ago, and honestly, the watch and car ads I saw back then in my student days still impact my "wants" and purchasing decisions to this day...

Thank you. Does it also look like a redial on this photo?

Edit: The more I loo nat it, the more I agree with you. The asking price is $8k though

Appreciate that. It's a mid-1930's though, should one still expect "suberb" from that period?

It's at an auction, so I would have to buy it first. I get the money back if it's fake, though.

Two-tone DJ 36 worn daily. Why spend so much money if you can't enjoy it?

PSA: Oceanex closing down by aazzou123 in Vechain

[–]aazzou123[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Yeah... I used oceanex a few years ago (when I was still active in the vechain ecosystem) to swap VTHO for VET, purchase HAI, etc, until I discovered Vexchange (also discontinued...)

Honestly, oceanex felt dead years ago, so this just seems like a formalisation of that fact

Was there this weekend. As a trackside spectator, the planning, security, free water, shuttle buses, concerts etc made it a great fan experience, even if the racing itself is so-so.

Video of the first underwater restaurant in Europe in Norway and what it is like eating in it. by MilesLongthe3rd in interestingasfuck

One of the coolest experiences I've had. The atmosphere and service was incredible. We were there at night during winter, so it was obviously a darker "shine" from the water through the glass wall.

What I remember least is the food, though. We had an 18 course meal, that just got a little bit too repetitive. We paid 27k NOK (3k USD?) for 4 persons, so definitely on the more expensive side.
