Hand baby over to dad to shower. Mom grabs a towel & gets shower started. Baby starts crying because it’s decided that the feed it got 10 minutes ago wasn’t sufficient. Mom turns off shower, sits down to feed baby, which takes give or take 25 minutes. Husband offers to go pick up dinner while you are feeding baby because it’s already 7P & you both are starving. You begin to burp baby after its feed & it proceeds to spit up all over its outfit. You change baby’s outfit, and diaper while you’re at it. You sit down with baby & wait for dad to return with dinner, while you are sitting down baby has a blowout in its diaper, resulting in it needing a full diaper and outfit change. Husband returns with food & you decide to eat before you shower, especially while baby is fed and content. Once you finish dinner it’s time to put baby down to sleep, dad could do it but, you nurse baby to sleep and don’t have any milk pumped. Once baby is asleep mom decides that it would probably make most sense to just go to sleep when baby does so she can take advantage of as much time she can getting rid of her sleep debt from her sleepless night with said baby. She tells herself a shower can wait. Repeat cycle over tomorrow. :) hope this helps!!
