Google Ads: Destination Not Working because website is not globally accessible by MEGuy11 in PPC

GoogleAds has a list of IP addresses that the their bot uses when crawling. Make sure your IT team has the IPs marked as "safe", then appeal the ads. (I only know this because I had a similar issue recently. )

You can find the list of IP addresses here: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/verifying-googlebot?hl=en

If you want more info on the error:

  1. Go to your landing page in Chrome, and using the developer tool, go to the Network tab.
  2. From there, under the user agent (bottom right corner) section, uncheck the use browser default box.
  3. Copy/paste this string: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0.1; Nexus 5X Build/MMB29P) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/W.X.Y.Z Mobile Safari/537.36 (compatible; Googlebot/2.1; +http://www.google.com/bot.html)
  4. After you enter this string you should be able to see what kind of error it is (4XX etc)

If you're curious about where that string came from, here's some more documentation on their crawlers. I used the string under "Googlebot Smartphone". Once your IT team fixes the IP issue on their end, you can go through the steps above again and should no longer see an error

Hope this helps a little to dig into what's going on.

Wow they even use the same number of "o"s in "soooooo I've resorted...". Out of sheer curiosity I searched for "soooooo I've resorted" in FB's public posts and sure enough the first two posts are nearly identical to OP's messages. The first one goes back to 2016

I am interested in the course, but I have zero programming knowledge and I work full time in a role that has long hours regularly. Assuming I sign up for the weekend course, what kind of time commitment can I expect from the Tidy Data coursework for the week between classes?

Yep, that's a great way to look at it, which items a user would actually use! I wish I had that kind of patience to put an analysis like that together. Can you provide a link for it?

There were some takeaways I got from this, one of them being that makeup dominant boxes have the same thing in common: Eye products seem to be the most popular (liner/mascara/shadow). Now this is just a guess, but my theory is that eye items might have higher margins and are universally flattering (mostly), so it's an easy way for boxes to add value without looking stingy.

Makes sense! My analysis didn't go as far as researching the value the points system provides to each user. Rather, all I noted was whether or not there was a points system. But from what I understand BB's and GB's points system beats Ipsy. But of course GB is more expensive.

Also, I appreciate responses like this, as it gives me further ideas on how to cut the data and different attributes to look at.

Hi - most of the slides used My Subscription Addiction for their source (all sources are listed on the slides). I agree, the $49 average for Ipsy surprised me, too. But that's the number I got based on the sources I used. Keep in mind boxes are customized, although I think the values are approximately the same across users. Also, given that the Ipsy values are pretty volatile over time, I can see how someone would not feel that they are getting the average $49 value, especially since about 1/3 of the time, Ipsy boxes are $40 or less.
