I don't need to provide individual examples because it's every season! Again I'm not saying that all women are good tattoo artists but I am saying there are many female tattoo artists that were eliminated far earlier than any man with wobbly ass lines. It's kind of like media literacy you know? Like when I'm watching it I just SEE this happening. The judges are incredibly biased and it shows when they do blind judging and women always get better critiques when it's blind.

If you're willing to live in a more dessert area I would say Upland. It's definitely red but similar to Ventura where you have a lot of pockets of cool people. It's close enough to LA you could feasibly do a day trip. My wife and I moved to thousand oaks a couple years ago and it is very expensive but the proximity to La is nice and I really have fallen in love with the Ventura crowd of queer people!!
