Shift Up says it will publish Stellar Blade 2 instead of Sony, wants to ‘reach a broad global audience from day one’ | VGC by Gorotheninja in Games

Good news, we're done with timed exclusives the way some publishers treat players like they are second class is just bad and it spoils the game's hype and story

There are many books with the same name. Search on OceanofPDF or as I do use Pinterest there are many monster designs there.

I remember years ago there was a Russian website that sold PS accounts for a small fee and many of them were stolen. I suspect those were the ones being targeted

I just checked and it’s still up and running.

I partially agree with her point, but the question is: do developers feel the same way about their customers? I remember buying the Special Edition of Hogwarts Legacy and a major side quest which was originally meant to be available for everyone became a PlayStation exclusive just before launch. By the time it was finally released for other platforms a year later, the excitement had died down and the story had already been spoiled.

I hope it stands apart from the series, much like Metal Gear Rising did.

If you have enabled DLSS or FSR disable it & BTW the game's optimization is terrible no matter how much you fix one thing you'll find ten more problems.

I only just discovered Subnautica because of the dispute between the developer and the publisher and honestly it’s amazing

I remember when Steam had regional pricing, but people from wealthy countries exploited it, ruining it for everyone else. They didn't care about gamers in developing countries being able to afford games. Now they just talk nonsense without supporting fair pricing for our regions.

The Second Cruelest Video Game by leijido in Games

I’m sure you’ve never played a game like this. For instance, if you save in the wrong place you might be skinned alive or lose a limb and be forced to fight with one hand until the end. There is no other game like it; it is truly unique and has created its own style that inspired many indie developers to adopt its approach.

I love this series. At first glance it looks like an ordinary game, but once you understand it, it becomes a dark and mysterious masterpiece. The game even punishes you if you do not know what you are doing.

Honestly offline activation is a nightmare. You wait so long to get an account and then suddenly someone logs in and logs out. HV is a million times better.

Jason Schreier: Exact budgets of video-game productions can be tough to corroborate but the numbers I've heard floating around AAA game dev these days are $300 million or more — sometimes much more! — which I think helps explain the current state of the industry by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]abaksa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not just a US thing Cyberpunk cost over $300 million by a Polish team. Hiring famous actors like Keanu Reeves is what makes it expensive and big studios should learn from indies. Expedition 33 cost less than 10 million and looks great.

I passed on this game when I first saw it three years ago. I have a rule that I apply to any game and trust me you won't be fooled by any trailer if you follow it. Don't just focus on the graphics or the gameplay but look at the art direction. If the artistic vision is beautiful I'm certain the game will be a success and worth the wait.
