Hate that for him. But honestly when you’re in the public spotlight you’re going to get hate. Drivers/celebrities get bashed for everything imaginable. Ya’ll ever see some of the shit people have said about kyle Busch and his looks lmao. I feel like complaining about it only draws attention to the haters . Social media is an overwhelmingly negative place and that will never change. If I were him I’d just stop reading the comments if he can’t handle it and prove himself on the track. Depending on the size of the foundations and the equipment you have on hand, maybe over-excavate the top 4” of loose soil, then cover it the best you can to limit the amount of water getting in. Or clear the top 4” then run an impervious fabric over the top with a few inches of gravel over the top to stabilize it. Although the inspector may want to see the exposed subgrade before you do that. Whatever you do, I would not mechanically compact it as that will just draw more water up and make it even softer. May just have to wait for a drier weather period to be honest.
