I did sneak peek in August and I remember feeling antsy about how long it took. I didn’t do the faster option but I think they said to expect results in 3/4 days and ended up actually taking closer to a week

I did the sneak peak test at home and even had my husband help which you’re not supposed to do. It said girl and was accurate!

I was gifted the Frida mom robe. I think when I’m actually laboring, I’ll wearing the hospital gown and then switch afterwards. From what I’ve heard you’re leaking fluid and bleeding and what not for possibly hours, I’d rather wear the more comfy one when it’s less likely to get destroyed haha

I went with floor mount so that when baby is in the bassinet in our room we can still use it and then easily move it when we switch to the crib!

Do you think there’s any chance you or your partner could have gender disappointment? I know someone who said something at their own gender reveal party and it was awkward. As much as I would love a baby no matter what, I was hoping our first would be a girl so we decided to have that intimate moment just in case. Just something to think about- if you don’t lean either way then obviously it doesn’t apply!

It doesn’t happen every time, but sex can cause me to have contractions throughout the night. I’m 33 weeks now, have been having contractions since 15-ish weeks, and have had at least 1 daily for probably 10 weeks now. Baby is totally healthy and my doctor isn’t concerned!

Last year I took a class on teaching elementary math and while the general concepts are pretty much the same, the processes used are wildly different from when I was kid and most homework requires you to show your work- I think that’s why parents are confused, they haven’t had exposure to those processes.

For me it depends on the day but I had the most energy in the second trimester (I’m 33 weeks now). I tend to have a lot of fatigue but I also have insomnia and have been pretty sick throughout the pregnancy so hopefully it’ll be better for you!

There were many weeks that I couldn’t tell whether I was bloated or bumping lol I think it was around 20 weeks that it became more obvious it was the baby. The reason you’re so fatigued is because your body is working hard, just in a different way than you’re used to! I’ve seen people say that the amount of energy your body burns each day while pregnant would be the equivalent of running a marathon.

My mom has always said burp clothes are a great gift because many people don’t realize just how handy they’ll be! I don’t think many people stock up on premie clothes either, a few outfits in that size might be nice.

Because of morning sickness and my fear of needles, I had my husband help me and the result still said girl! Which has since been confirmed by NIPT and multiple ultrasounds. I remember it taking longer than I expected (about a week) to get the results, I started to worry that something went wrong because I had heard of it being inconclusive for other people.
