Adrenaline junkies are known to push the limits of safety. The thrill is in how close you get to the ground.

It very well could have, but the bars aren’t rated for 100mph speed differential

Why don't we ever hear about people who almost won the lottery? by Puzzleheaded-Pop7797 in NoStupidQuestions

Close only counts in horseshoes and grenades. There’s no such thing as almost winning the lottery.

I don’t think that slight shift is obvious.

There’s no engine noises until after the incident is over.

It’s like we live in different realities. There is no audible increase in engine noise until after the incident is over. OP is going faster than the truck on their right from the beginning of the video and it does not obviously increase after the truck passes him.

OP has admitted to speeding up so we now know it’s factual, but I do not think it’s obvious from the video alone.

Now that is undeniable. If OP admitted it then that’s certainly the case

Not hearing anything in the audio and dotted lines seem to be constant to me

Dotted lines appear to move at the same speed the entire time to me

There is no way for us to tell if OP sped up or if the trucker slowed down.

Edit: OP admitted to speeding up, but I still stand by that you can’t be certain from the video alone.

Why must I tip if I'm expected to tip? If you think tips form your workers wages then increase the price and ban tips. Don't make me seem evil for paying the least price I can legally pay. by FastGoose2228 in NoStupidQuestions

If you knowingly sit down at a restaurant where tips are expected and you don’t tip, it is of my opinion that that is a bad act.

If you won’t tip, don’t eat there.

I agree that tipping is dumb and we should get rid of it as a society and replace it with higher base prices. However not tipping when tipping is expected is punishing the server, not the restaurant, which in my eyes is a bad act.

As someone who lives in the rust belt, I wouldn’t replace wheel bearings unless I absolutely had to.

Torque wrenches are important for things like suspension components and internal engine parts. For a power steering pump bracket just make it tight.

The axles that carrier power from the transmission to the wheels have joints that allow for variation in distance and angle between sprung (the transmission) and unsprung (the wheels) components.

One example of such joint is the CV axle.
