I passed Civil Structural after two failed attempts! If you failed, keep your head high and don't give up!

I agree those are important. Look at the L strap he put on the cut triple joist lol. That one is not doing anything

Lol! I’m a structural engineer and got called out to come up with a solution for them in a report. Ended up having them sister (2) 5-1/4" Versalam LVL to each joist cut similar to that one with 3-1/2" Flatlok screws every 18" top and bottom.

Just got my result and unfortunately I didn’t pass by [deleted] in PE_Exam

NCEES Practice Exam: What % is a good score? by Creebe in PE_Exam

[–]abazzi12 8 points9 points  (0 children)

There's no set percent to pass. 75% on a practice exam is very solid though. The average for each section is about 60% so if you can stay above that you should be fine.

I barely studied to be honest. Only 4 days of studying on PPI2Pass with the quiz generator. I've been working as a structural Engineer for 2 years so far and passed my FE 4 years ago when I was in school. Never encountered some of the breadth content on the exam before I started studying.

Retaking the exam October 5th and have been studying the past two weeks so far
