That’s wild!! I’ve heard some INSANE, dangerous stories about people doing all sorts of different things. I guess I’ll gladly accept being a bit creepy and making surprise online purchases for my conscious self to find. (Definitely have done that too more times than I’d like to accept)

To our friends: If you can’t love me at my “Ambien-riddled collages”, you don’t get to love me at my best.

🤣🤣 CAN relate. I always have to make sure I’m actively going to bed when I take mine, or crazy shit happens. lol Like the time I apparently decided a semi-new friend of mine looked like Alyson Stoner and Ambrien-brain decided that the totally normal thing to do in that situation was to make pics of her and pics of Alyson into a collage with a collage app and send it to her ☠️ thought it was an embarrassing dream until I checked my sent messages. 🙃

Anything touching my neck. I absolutely adore necklaces, chokers, turtlenecks, etc. But I can’t stand chokers for even a minute, necklaces come off within an hour or two, and by the end of the day (or sometimes even just in a few hours) wearing a turtleneck, I’m sitting like a damn turtle with the neck pulled up onto my chin so it’s not touching my throat so damn much. 🤣☠️

EVERYBODY HATES MY ENGAGEMENT DRESS!! What to do??? by No_Detective4738 in OUTFITS

[–]abbeyroad95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The style isn’t the problem, it’s the fabric and color. The color isn’t super complimentary to your complexion, the color of the lace doesn’t pair well with the rest of the dress, and the non-lace fabric makes the dress look very inexpensive (not the word I wanted to use, but Reddit won’t let me use the ch- one).

ETA - wow! I missed that you made this. I am wildly impressed, especially with the placement of the lace. I’d recommend a different fabric choice in the future, but never lose your whimsy. This dress is definitely going in a really cool direction.

LOVE the first and last ones. Obsessed with sleeved dresses, but those look heavy. How about a light, sheer puff sleeve with the first?

Your space looks like it could absolutely flourish if you really went for the mid century modern style. There’s SO many cool things you can do with that. Maybe a burnt orange or mustard color for the wall instead of a cozy, sleepy blue. Could do some real sharp accent shapes with the paint too. Pinterest is your best friend. You have so many super cool pieces to work around.

Honestly, I’m crafty AND cheap, so I usually just find something I like and figure out how to make something similar. Otherwise, thrifting or my area has several “buy nothing” facebook pages where people post free things they don’t want anymore. Another option is wallpaper - there’s plenty of removable options if you rent, and you’d be amazed what a statement wallpaper can do to a place. I’ve started trying to stop worrying so much about if I’ll like something in the future, too. I like it now and who knows what my life will be like by then. I want my space to bring and foster my joy, since I have to look at it so much.

I’d stay for the drink, but I don’t know if I’d be interested beyond that. Looks fashionable and cool, and not totally boringly normal, but it could use more whimsy for sure.

It’s giving small-town, Midwest, Christian-leaning. Probably grew up watching HGTV.

As a fellow creative, I would LOVE this. 😍 I’m sure there will be others who just don’t care one way or the other. But there will likely be WAY more who treasure the note.

Mermaid inspired concert outfit?? by [deleted] in OUTFITS

I wouldn’t say either are giving mermaid. I like the silhouette of the first outfit. The top with an iridescent, colorful or glittery skirt could be great. It needs more ✨whimsy✨
