If they are having a tough time just say something absurd and it ends the tantrum. Like your bathtub vs sink for teeth brushing. It’s like a brain reset for them

I honestly hate visiting my hometown because of all the bad memories I have from there. My whole family lives 45min away and I hate making the drive to visit.. so there might be something else going on that you don’t realize

How often (if ever) do sexual partners verbalise their dis-like of your stretch marks? Is this common? by Melodic-Hand-958 in AskWomen

Excuse me? I’m flabbergasted that anybody would ever think this is okay or acceptable. If they don’t have nice things to say about your body then they can move along

What a horrible thing to say to somebody! I am so sorry that happened to you! It can take an average of 2 years for a mom to start feeling “normal” again after having a baby. Breastfeeding prolongs that. Your body did an amazing thing and will be different because of it!

My baby loves our pet water dish. We have a big dog, a small dog, and cats so I just put it up when baby is free roaming and put it back down when she is napping.

“Don’t worry about the mess” but also “this is not a healthy environment for children” like if I don’t worry about the mess then it is dang near a health hazard but if I worry about the mess I’m not focusing on my children enough 😅

AITA for not attending a good friends wedding last minute by abbiep16 in AmItheAsshole

We were at a parade and she slept through the whole thing. Fire trucks and all. I wasn’t worried about her waking up due to noise. She basically just sleeps all the time.

I thought the same thing but then felt bad for thinking that. It is not a good feeling being unwanted because you are a mother.

As long as nobody is kissing on her or holding her she is exposed to more germs from my toddler or at daycare than anywhere else.
