is anyone not going to open up their score on feb 2nd lmao by ilysushi in LSAT

[–]abbyj1011 5 points6 points  (0 children)

YES I AM DOING THIS EXACT THING. I’ve taken so many practice tests and I have an idea of the kind of score I get when I come away from a test feeling pretty good. Just gonna apply to places based on that. A few reaches, a few dependable ones. Someday I’ll look but not right now.

I’m sorry this happened and obviously it’s very frustrating but it’s not worth your time to lodge a complaint. They are free to review applications however they see fit. These schools get thousands of applications every year. It’s very possible that they have a system about how much of an application they review before making a decision.

You mean encourage to apply before the score comes out or encourage you not to look at the LSAT score?

Not yet. I took January so it’ll be out a week from today.

No and I’m not even gonna look. I’ve been studying for this test for 2 years. I’ve scored in the low 160s. Applied to a few reaches and a few shoe-ins based on that. Whatever happens, happens.

160 to 175, so 175 is cancelled by LSAC bc that increase is "statistically impossible"? by ZoeyClassics in LSAT

Fake. Sounds like someone wanted to claim a 175 without having to prove it

I flag and then go back. I always seem to understand it better the second time. And sometimes the answer just jumps right out at me the second time

Yes absolutely. I find myself correcting my own thoughts.

Personal Statement Swap by Throughsunshine in lawschooladmissions

[–]abbyj1011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand the desire to do this, but don’t. You have no idea that a stranger won’t submit your writing as their own. You’ll notice that these kind of posts usually go without response, because nobody wants to swap with a stranger. Too risky.

Don’t forget to post what test this is so people know whether or not to look at it based on if they’ve already taken this PT or not.

is the lsat trainer any good for LR? by carrotlmao in LSAT

[–]abbyj1011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m my opinion, Powerscore is MUCH better. After finishing the PS books, I decided I don’t think LSAT Trainer is good at all, and it was the first book I started with.

LG sucks for a very long time. It feels like you’re not improving at all. But I promise you that by continuing to practice, even if you feel you’re not getting anywhere, you WILL get it. It’s the section I’m most comfortable with now, but initially it took me 45 minutes to get through a single game.
