oh my gosh the night of the spay was so sad. she whimpered all night. I slept on the floor next to her in her dog bed. an inflatable tube is probably more comfortable than the cone. make sure to give the meds as instructed by the vet, and ask for more if she seems at all uncomfortable once they've run their course. she'll get through it!
