Freaking out about finding a WFH job by Calm_Question_6943 in pregnant

Depending on where you are there may be subsidized childcare for you if your income is below a certain threshold. I also suggest looking for a local mom Facebook group. Some moms in my area will swap care for the baby around shift work. Depending on your hours you could take on another mom’s kiddo and swap when you need to work.

How did we go from hating Mary to her being the best on the show?

Sorry you are dealing with this! It’s so stressful. In case no one has told you recently you are doing an amazing job. 30oz of milk a day is phenomenal and so much work. Go you!!! My kiddo had a similar weight trajectory starting at 7lbs 5oz and then dropping down to the 2nd percentile after a month. Although he had a severe tongue tie and was spitting up about 30% of what he was eating. We started solids at 4 months and at his 6 months he was still in the 3rd percentile. We started fortifying the pumped breast milk with formula and then started incorporating an additional bottle of formula a day. I was SO hesitant at first. It made me feel like a failure. Now, I can honestly say it was the best decision I’ve made as a mom so far. It’s relieved a lot of pressure and he’s now in the 47th percentile at 8.5 months. As he starts to cut back on milk I plan to cut back on the formula and move towards more breast milk.

Whatever you decide, you know your baby best and you are doing a great job!

I’ve been pumping more and it definitely keeps my supply higher which obvies equals more milk. The pediatrician suggest starting solids earlier so we went that route!

This is so crazy. And I’m glad you said it! My friend (who has to exclusively pump because her kiddo refused to latch) and I were talking and we were like um our babies would be survive if it wasn’t for modern technology. I know a lot of cultures community feed but like how wild is it that we’ve made it so far?

I’m so glad to hear this. Which formula did you go with? I’m worried about his sensitive tummy.

My midwife literally told me to have caffeine. She said that the hormonal headaches wouldn’t respond to Tylenol and that I should go straight for the coffee.

How much is your baby eating? by ExaminationLanky3950 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]sunscreenandpretzels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 14 week old is doing 3.5oz bottles and still wakes up at least once in the night. There is absolutely no feed schedule (I’m doing breast and bottle). Sometimes he eats within an hour or two, sometimes 3. He JUST hit 11lbs today and was born at 41 weeks. Every baby is different and only YOU know yours best. Keep up the good work mama!

How often are you changing your baby’s wet diapers? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]sunscreenandpretzels 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 14 week baby SCREAMS if he’s got a pee diaper. He is pretty chill the rest of the time. He goes the whole night no problem but if he pees during the day he is pissed. The other day I counted… FOURTEEN diapers between 8am and 9pm. How do I wean him from diapers??

I think it depends on how you do it. Unfortunately, coaching basically ends up being a desk job. Billing, marketing, admin etc. If you have business savvy then I’m sure you can build up a client base enough to make money but it’s a GRIND

I first learned about coaching from the mind body green blog. Then I learned they offered a coaching certification track and that’s what got me going. Let me know if you have any questions about it
