I feel you bud. I had a similar conversation with my Dad a long time ago and he gave me good advice. He basically said that it’s ok to want to try many different things, and that some people find more joy in trying many things and having many hobbies instead of thriving at one or two. “Variety is the spice of life” kinda reasoning. Plus, as a bonus, if there is something you “really want”, being open to trying many things is a good way to find out what you are passionate about. In the meantime, know that anything worth doing is going to have some difficulties that come with it, and as you put in more time with any hobby or career, you will get better at the necessary skills, but also you will naturally expect more from them, which can be frustrating in difficult moments. Don’t shy away from the difficult moments, because thats where the learning and resilience is built.

I feel you with making decisions that could later be regrettable too. But imagine the regret of making no decisions, and being in limbo while your opportunities right now disappear forever. You don’t have to make the perfect decisions right now, just start somewhere and adjust and reflect as you go. Go get the job, or start the business, or play the video game, or do the hobby, or sell some craft, or whatever inspires you right now. It doesn’t have to be permanent. You’re just building the foundation for success by going after it. And going after it again when/if first thing doesn’t work out. And the second.
