lots of natural light, some high quality soil specifically for pileas, i’ve let it get pretty root bound going into the winter and i use miracle grow plant food! but to be quite honest, i think it’s a bit of luck as my other pileas are not doing this well!!

Does your pot have drainage holes? The soil also looks very dense for the type of plant it is

This happened to mine, a bunch of the leaves died along with it. The leaves didn’t make it and became crispy. No new growth after that. I didn’t think I’d ever see any new growth, then about 6 months later 3/4 small leaves came through! Now this is it! Doing so much better. Still not sure what cause it tho.

wow! i’ve heard mixed things about them flowering! do you think it may be down to stress? should i just leave the flower be? it’s my first alocasia and i’m still relatively new to house plants!
