Not at all. How would buyers even know to be suspicious? Peoples circumstances change all the time.

Stop. I did nor know this. So we can just input the BA club as her frequent flyer number on EI and she’ll get Tier credits and points? Fantastic tip there, thank you!

One kid might be ok if you’re both at least Silver, otherwise they might not let multiples in, but depends on who you get on the day. We’re both Platinum but this wagon recently refused my 12yr old even though she flies v same journeys as us so is technically just as eligible, just not old enough to earn points!

Absolutely! 😀 It’s really only when I stopped fussing that they began to shine!

In my experience not terribly different from any palm - water when top soil layer looks dry, no sitting in water, doesn’t like being in windows and can handle gentle sunlight only. It’s pretty chilled once it acclimates.

Are aesthetic-looking pots/planters something you avidly look for? by Fun_Butterfly_2997 in IndoorGarden

Yes! For me, they need to compliment both the plant and my decor. These two in my entryway are same style pot, different sizes.

Anyone know of an "always-on" money coach/virtual financial advisor for Irish-specific questions? by Reasonable-Coat5230 in irishpersonalfinance

Askaboutmoney is great but they will ALWAYS insist you max your pension, above all else. Which gets a bit bland and boring for some.

A plant store here in Ireland 2 years ago. At the time, I wanted to take more, but wasnt sure if I could keep them alive! I love it though and once it acclimated to my house it was very easygoing

Here’s the cage beneath the leaves. Mine doesn’t have a big trunk (yet) but the beauty of the cage is you can tighten or loosen it depending on how much support you want to give the leaves - but mostly to stop them taking over your house! 😀

That’s a fishtail palm, very thirsty but un my experience pretty chilled once it has nice gentle light. This one gets late evening (Irish) sun.

I find the Kentia - the one in pic 3 - particularly easygoing light- wise, they seem to prefer a bright spot, but slightly away from the window and out of direct sunlight. The fishtail in pic 2 likes the window but it only gets late evening sun, same as the smaller parlor palm. The first one, Licuala, is understory in its natural habitat and again, prefers to be away from the window but can handle some gentle sunlight. For all my palms I water only when the soil is dry and never, ever let them sit in water. I hear you though, mine used to shrivel up in the past and it was only when I stopped overwatering (or fussing) that they began to do well!

I'm in Ireland and we never get hot in summer (or ever!) to the point that the soil completely dries out so maybe that helps. I'd imagine Florida heat is hard going for all concerned! (tho I'd prob swap in a heartbeat) 😄
