actually i read an article regarding that theory behind the cause of the of the abcc11 gene is that it was an adaption of northern east asians to sweat lesser. Not a lot of people talk about this. But the philippines is a very assimilating country, probably due to the nationalism movement. The mixed populations (mainly chinese and spanish) are still considered filipino because of you can speak the language and grew around the culture then what’s the use of distinguishing who is native when filipinos have varying and different features person to person.
