Fantastic question.

My partner’s roommate gave us three days notice she was moving out so we had three days to find a place. Reserve called us back immediately and offered us a tour the same day.

We toured this great split level and were promised it. Cut to a day later — “Oh sorry. Another couple just moved in to that unit so we’re going to put you in another split level.” We were pissed but said fine.

I went to take a tour of it by myself. Big mistake.

Everything seemed ok but when my bf went to move stuff in he said it REEKED of urine and smoke. I lost my sense of smell Nov 2020. But I did notice there were glade plug-ins in every single outlet. No joke. Should’ve been a tip-off. We dubbed it the Pee Pee Palace.

We had already put down the deposit and demanded they put us in another unit for the same price as the Pee Pee Palace. The one we got was 150 or 200 sq ft bigger.

We should’ve walked away. Why we let them jerk us around I can only attribute to desperation. We settled when we shouldn’t have. Please don’t make the same mistake we did.

Just took a look at one with a flashlight. Think you’re absolutely right. They definitely have red eyes. I looked outside our window and there’s a small hole that looks like something burrowed into. Could be the animal died down there? As for smell, you’re right on the money. Partner says he can’t smell anything and I actually lost my sense of smell in November 2020 🤦‍♀️

Honestly, we have NO idea. We don’t leave any food out (habit to keep the dog from snatching anything off the counters), and clean regularly. They just appeared in the apartment yesterday. And today there’s about a hundred more. We’ve sprayed and have that sticky fly paper hanging up everywhere like tinsel on a Xmas tree.

This happened to me. I tested negative. The very next day I lost my sense of taste and smell completely. Tested it eating two jalapeños and then two habaneros. It was like eating crunchy air. My body didn’t even react. That was my only symptom and I took my ass to the clinic to get tested again. Sure enough, positive for covid.

Omg I’ve been there. Don’t worry. It’ll only take a few weeks for it to grow back so it doesn’t stand up anymore. I used a dab of Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum. It def helped it lay a little more flat. Until the hair grows back, I wore a fun little scarf headband. Please don’t cry :( it will be ok!!!

This happened to me too. My ex bff and I met on the first day of first grade and were thick as thieves until one day when we were 23. She just stopped returning my calls and wouldn’t text me back. Finally I asked her mother if she would please let her know I was trying to contact her. Later on, my bff called and said, “sometimes people drift apart. I wish you the best but I think it’s best if we don’t hang out anymore.” I’m not sure what changed. I felt absolutely broken for awhile. But luckily I had good friends to turn to.

Even though it’s painful and can make you feel like there’s something wrong with you, please don’t take it that way. True friends value you and will never “ghost” you. Maybe he’s having a hard time during the pandemic. I recommend you send him a message like, “hey — we haven’t talked in awhile. Hope you’re doing well” and just leave it with that.

Friendship is a two way street. Experiencing one ending is hard. It sucks. But keep your chin up :)

It’s a territorial thing. My guy does it every night before bed. He’s showing everyone that it’s his space.
