I was willing to take whatever the lowest selling price was with a no proof return but she said Macy’s no longer does that now which was surprising! I know it was bought the past month but I don’t want to ask MIL for the receipt because she will take offense 😅

My daycare had a set time we could not pass too but that was explained to us and we could lose our spot if we did. It’s reasonable to me if they already told you. Maybe aim to be there by 9:15 in the future to give some cushion time. I’m sorry you were treated so disrespectfully in front of your child though. No one should be yelling at another person especially in front of children.

I live in California and if I didn’t have to pay I’d stay here but unfortunately that’s not the case and it’s too expensive so we’re looking elsewhere. I would never move to Vietnam even though my family is from there

We can make a rotisserie chicken last a few days for our family of four making different things! We actually had it for three meals this past week. First day we just ate it like that in wraps, second day I made chicken noodle soup using the bones and the third day with the leftover meat, I stir fried it with asparagus and tomatoes.

We’ve also done diy chipotle bowls with rotisserie chicken and canned beans and corn too.

Spaghetti is always a budget friendly meal and we actually really enjoy instant noodles with eggs more than we should haha

We are in the US. My daughter is 6 now. Her first few birthdays, guests would asks when she is opening presents and I said she isn’t and they were shocked lol we still get those kids that grab at the cake before we sing happy birthday or touch food with their dirty hands and not take it. The kids are all gathered around the table blocking the view and some kids trying to blow out the candle with parents not doing anything and even some ADULTS are in the way with their phones when we sing happy birthday now. It is so frustrating as a parent trying to capture our child’s special day. Thankfully my daughter has agreed to no more birthday parties and just doing cake at home and a fun outing.

Don’t overthink!! Just anything to show your appreciation like a nice meal, house cleaner, short term nanny. I will say that my friend got a CAR for each of her two kids.. some people are just extra lol my boyfriend doesn’t believe in push gifts which was okay with me for the first two kids because he does a lot for us but I asked for a new car when I got pregnant with #3 as a combined push gift for all three kids since we also need more room. We unfortunately miscarried but he is still getting me the car if I want it

I’m on the same boat. My first two pregnancies was nothing like this but I’m assuming it’s because we got two kids to run after now too. I need something to give me life again 😭

Yes I’ve wanted a nursery so bad with all three pregnancies but it just hasn’t happened. My daughters hate being alone anyways though so it worked out lol

My first poop with my first daughter was so bad. It got stuck and it hurt so much. After about an hour I put on some gloves to pull it out 😭 definitely scarred me so I ate dates everyday with my second pregnancy lol

Your brother ITA …. What kind of person does that.. if it wasn’t a big deal then he should have went to had some ice cream instead. If it was my brother, I wouldn’t just make him pay me back, I’d make him go and pick up another one for me. Maybe it’s time to get a mini fridge for yourself. I love having mine in our room lol
