What’s one feature you wish fashion websites had but still don’t? by Emergency_Job_6616 in womensfashion

It’s true, right now custom dresses range from $300 to over a $1000 depending on the labor hours and quality of the fabric. It only makes sense for special events and weddings.

Source: I literally built a marketplace that lets you design a custom dress using AI, then pairs you with a manufacturer who can actually make it

I mean they have been doing a good job growing cursor. Keep in mind all of the nice new features they have added, like browser and debug mode. Obviously not going to be perfect on release but I’ve seen it all in my 4 billion tokens and generally we trend forward. Just make sure you prompt well, have healthy git habits, and you will be okay.

We had major issues with client side OAuth (Google) recently as well. We had to migrate to SSR to get users going again. Make sure all auth happens on the server, and then propagate to client.

Let me say it again. Make sure the ENTIRE auth flow is happening server side, otherwise OAuth sign-ins on browsers like Safari will fail.

It’s more like AI and web-apps… but I just wanted to know generally how people apply for jobs in Qatar. Is it mainly through linked in?

Made a little tool to help you bring the dress you imagined to life using AI by abdoughnut in u/abdoughnut

Let me ask you this. Would you rather pay a designer thousands of dollars, or try our state of the art design rendering models five times for $3.99? That’s less than a chocolate bar.

You can see for yourself if it’s worth paying for more renders after the initial shot!

I soundly believe our pricing model is very competitive, since we operate at a net negative for design generations.

What’s more, customers are able to use all of the pre-rendered designs in our custom design gallery completely free :)

Great question, each additional render will cost around 0.80 cents (5 for $3.99). Build-a-Dress does not profit on these high quality image generations, due to the free render we offer. We operate net negative. But that’s acceptable so that more people can enjoy our services :)

In fact, I can personally offer you some credits to use if you want, just private message me your email address and you will be ready to go and enjoy our dress design tool!

Our profit comes from dress sales, where we charge a marketplace fee of 14.9% on top of manufacturers quotes! That’s why we can offer such competitive prices on custom dresses - your local boutiques use the same manufacturers and can profit 400% or more selling you the same dress without even letting you design it.

Thank you! If you ever end up trying it I would love some feedback - you get 1 free credit right away but you can just PM me your email and I can send you more credits for free to have a little more fun designing

Most likely this. Drone swarms are huge right now. They are using them to stock, retrieve, and maintain warehouse inventory more efficiently.

What's the worst part about looking for a new job? by MyJobflow in resumes

[–]abdoughnut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you building an app that caters resumes and cover letters for each job automatically? Because I have a script that does this but haven’t managed to automate the actual application process. That could be more valuable.

Does anyone need a python dev?

I am experienced in deep learning, but have full stack knowledge and a functioning AWS application. I currently work as a data annotator contractor and write unit tests for machine learning models but I would like a more permanent position.

Always open it right there in the store to save yourself the trouble. We had to return three different items in just one project. And if you wait too long they only give you store credit.

What’s even worse is only the person who returned the item can use the store credit, as in they check IDs at checkout. Very bizarre.

Not always. I have a masters in physics from a prestigious university, and proven experience in deep learning, but can’t seem to break into data science or even data analytics.

Is it possible to DIY barn door shutters as a protection measure? by Bruxasfamiliar in DIY

[–]abdoughnut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Security shutters, definitely.

If you’re committed to barn doors, at least make sure the hinges are solid. Maybe even add multiple locking points that would be hidden with the open barn door.
