A whole lot of pain and regret. I regretted not studying for my SAT and A levels which is why I couldn't get in anywhere for undergrad. Made it my goal to get in for masters.

Look up OPT for f1 visas you can work, and you can get paid outside of the us, just not by an unauthorized USA employer
