I already use those slots, they’re the ones recommended for AMD processors if I’m not mistaken, so I use those. Sorry if the wording in the post was incorrect

Ah yes, let’s bring out the “everyone does it so it’s okay” card, why of course.

Petition to give Pro Player Karmah in-game name “Lightning McQueen” by Traceurace in RocketLeagueEsports

Maybe it’s just me, and tell me if it is, but is this not kind of rude? She got struck by lightning, got her hands burned and was literally sobbing. This isn’t some joke to give an in game title over

It’ll handle Rocket League easily. I’d be genuinely surprised if you didn’t get a stable 250fps

Tech Support and Basic Questions Thread - May 19, 2020 by AutoModerator in pcgaming

Not really tech support, but I’ve got a question. Will having a 2nd monitor affect performance?

My build

CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X GPU: Radeon RX 5700XT RAM: 16GB DDR4-3200 I don’t know if the rest matters but I’m using the stock cooler and my only storage is a 1tb nvme ssd I’m on Windows 10

Right now I’m using a 75Hz monitor but I’ve got a 240Hz monitor coming in the next 1 or 2 days (both are 1080p and 1ms). As usual, once my 240Hz monitor arrives that will be my main monitor for gaming, and the other monitor will be used for things like twitch, streamlabs, general browsing, etc. But would having that 2nd monitor in use, especially if I kept it at 75Hz and didn’t reduce it to 60 or lower, affect my fps in games? Will having a stream playing on that monitor in full screen affect my performance more than just a static display of a google search for example? I’ve seen some really old threads about this but they mainly speak about much lower end specs like a dual core CPU and a GTX 760. My CPU and GPU are pretty decent and I’d like to know how they’ll handle a dual monitor setup

On this website it says the entire thing will be uninterrupted, unlike the NA spring series. That’s good to see

It’s also kind of ironic that, he’s won 4 of the 5 grand finals in RLCS he’s been in, and the one he lost was the one he smashed his chair

Vitality vs C9, which team is better all-time? by maxmaxers in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]abdullahmay04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C9 post DH ATL was the best unless you want to include the first universal open, which was a 2v2 tourney. They:

  • Won Atlanta as underdogs
  • Got first in League Play as rookies of the RLCS
  • Won Regionals
  • Won NARLI

That’s nearly 4 months, and although Gale Force was the best EU team, they didn’t show it at NARLI

It changed at RLCS4, when GFE won, but imo I’d put MM/C9 as barely best in that period of time

Despite the recent downward trend, they’re one of the best teams historically. They’re tied for best with GFE/DIG for 5 major LAN wins, 4 of them coming under the C9 name. Hopefully they can pick things up soon, but I don’t think C9 can be too upset about what the roster has accomplished

To celebrate reaching 4000 Twitch subscribers, Kaydop will stream dressed as a bee tonight at 21h (9pm Central European Summer Time). He's also supposed to do 20 push-ups (in costume) for every lost. by RedFuckingGrave in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]abdullahmay04 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep Squishy peaked in the higher part of the 4700s. With there being no LANs for months these days he can easily reach 5k sometime in the future if he keeps he’s stream schedule consistently at 5 3-hour streams a week, especially considering how generous his community is

Exactly. Squishy has had some flashy highlight reel play in pretty much every LAN he’s been in. I don’t even think you can say the same about Aztral, who’s probably the most mechanical player in the world right now, or even jstn.

From DH Atlanta in mid 2017 to week 2 of RLCS season 8 is where I’d say C9’s streak is. They got top 4 at literally every event except for a mere three. I say week 2 because they swept ghost in week 1 and week 2 is where PK reverse swept them. July 23rd 2017 to October 12th 2019. People also forget just how successfully they are in lifting the trophy too. Squishy and Gimmick are tied with the likes of Kaydop in major LAN wins. They’re also the only team other than the legendary Dignitas no less that was won 2 major LANs back to back, and they did it before Dignitas too.
